국문 초록

"논술"은 흔히 "논리적 글쓰기"로 풀이되지만, 낱말 자체로 보자면, "어떤 것에 대해 논하는 진술(陳述)"로 풀이하는 게 마땅하다. "논(論)"이란 "어떤 문제에 대해 누군가의 말이나 방법으로써 그것의 의미나 옳고그름 등을 따지는 것"을 말한다. 따지기는 주어진 문제에 대해 누군가에게 이유를 캐묻고, 나름의 기준에 따라 옳고 그름을 판가름하는 헤아리는 것을 말한다. "진술"이란 숨겨져 있던 어떤 것을 서술된 것 그 자체로부터 밝게 드러내어 서로 함께 나누는 말이라고 할 수 있다. 글짓기는 집짓기의 보기에서 알 수 있는 바처럼 글 자체를 목적으로 한다. 글짓기의 과정은 낱말들로써 문장을, 문장으로써 문단을 이루어나가는 순서를 밟지만, 이 과정은 이미 "글의 얼개(구상)"을 통해 설계된다. 글짓기는 주어진 재료들을 활용하여 새로운 글을 만들어내는 행위이지만, 그 행위 자체는 다시금 의미와 같은 것을 서로 함께 나누고자 하는 목적을 갖는다. 글쓰기는 자신의 신체와 도구들을 사용하여 글을 적어 나가는 일을 말한다. 글쓰기는 생각들을 정돈하여 서로 함께 나누기 위한 방식이다. 글쓰기는 글짓기의 목적에 적합한 형식들을 선택해 나가는 과정이다. 글쓰기는 다양한 해석 가능성을 안고 있는 말의 작품화이다.

영문 초록

Writing is usually explained "logical writing", but it means 'statement arguing about something'. To argue is to distinguish between right and wrong in the proposal at question. To distinguish is to ask someone the reason, why he puts his assertion over the problem, and to discriminate right between wrong in given reasons according to own's criterion'. 'Statement' is the sentence, that reveals something from predication itself and we talk about it each other. The aim of compositing the sentence is writing itself. Composition has the process, that makes words into sentence, and sentences into paragraph. But this process is regulated through the structure of writing already. Composition is the action that make new writing. The action itself has purposes that intents to share the meaning each other. Writing is the work to write down with writing instrument using own body. Writing is the way to arrange ideas in order to share it together. Writing is the processing, that selects suitable forms for composition. Writing is making a work of words which can be variously interpreted.
