국문 초록

본 연구는 노인의 사회인구학적 변인과 회상기능이 자아통합감에 미치는 영향력을 분석한 것으로, 그 목적은 노인상담 프로그램에 회상이 적절한 개입전략으로 적용될 수 있는지를 살펴보기 위함이다. 이를 위해 60세 이상 노인 517명을 대상으로 면접방법으로 수집한 자료를 단계적 중다회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 사회인구학적 변인과 회상기능 하위요인이 자아통합감에 미치는 상대적 영향력을 분석한 결과, 주관적 건강수준, 현재동거상태, 주부양책임자 변인이 자아통합감을 설명하는 주요설명변인으로 나타났다. 자아통합감의 하위요인에 대한 분석결과에서는 주관적 건강수준, 주부양책임자, 현재동거상태, 회상기능이 과거, 현재 수용에 대한 주요설명변인으로 나타났으며, 삶에 대한 태도 요인에 대한 주요설명변인은 회상기능, 교육수준, 현재동거상태의 순으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyse the effects of reminiscence function on ego-integrity in the elderly and to provide basic materials for program which improve the mental health of the elderly. The participants were 517 elderly peoples(60 years and older) living in Daegu. The instruments used in the study were the assessment ego-integrity, the assessment of reminiscence and the questionnaire of demographic variables. The data were analysed by using Pearson correlation, Stepwise multiple regression. The findings were as follows: (1) Predictors of ego-integrity of the elderly ordered the level of health, household and the supporter of elderly; (2) Predictors of 'acceptance of past and present' of the elderly ordered the level of health, the supporter, household and reminiscence function of elderly; (3) Predictors of 'positive attitude of life' of the elderly ordered reminiscence function, the level of education, household of elderly. Based on these findings, the recommendations for the future research in this area and limitation of this study were discussed.
