「민성보 」의 발간과 사회적 지향

국문 초록

1928년 2월 간도(연변)에서 발간한 「민성보」는 강렬한 배일 논조로 말미암아 1931년 일제의 탄압에 의해 강제폐간 되었다. 나라와 민족의 운명이 기울어지는 역사적 환경 속에서 반제반봉건의 기발을 추켜든 「민성보」는 1920년대 후기에 연변에서 유일하게 공개 발간 된 진보적 조선문 신문이었고 또한 1920년대 말 연변의 역사, 정치, 경제, 교육. 문화 등 다방면에 걸쳐 연구 할 수 있는 중요한 역사 자료이기도 하다. 본고에서는 1920년대 당시의 역사적 상황 속에서 「민성보」의 발간배경, 운영진과 편집진, 편집방침과 보도 내용 및 경향성에 대해 살펴보고 아울러 구체적인 지면을 통해 민족의 독립과 항일, 민족운동과 노동운동의 실천과 이론적 탐구, 민족적 교육구국과 새 문화 제창, 간도정착의미-생존권을 위한 몸부림 등 「민성보」가 추구했던 사회사상적 지향을 논술했다. 따라서 반제반봉건의 진보적인 신문으로서 「민성보」새로운 사상과 문화의 전파자로서의 「민성보」, 역사 기록자로서의「민성보」는 중국 조선족 언론사에서는 물론, 해외 한민족언론사 범주에서도 차지하는 지위는 결코 간단하지 않다.

영문 초록

Voice Daily, first issue released at Gando (Yanbian) in February 1928, in the ever increasing Anti-Japanese sentiment, was compelled to stop release under the suppression of the Japanese Imperialism in 1931. In a historical background when the destiny of the nation facing critical moment of life and death, Voice Daily, which upheld anti-imperialism, anti-feudalism signifying progressiveness, was the sole Korean Journal published openly in Yanbian at that time. It is also currently a vital historical material for researches in fields such as History, Politics, Economy, Education, Culture of Yanbian region in the late 1920s. Through the research on the publishing background, journal operating and editing systems, edition direction, report content as well as report tendency of Voice Daily in the late 1920's, this study revealed that Voice Daily was the journal with thoughts and tendency seeking to promote National Independence and Anti-Japanese Invasion, to promote theoretical practice and exploration in National Movement and Labor Movement, to promote New Culture & Revitalization of Nation through Education, and to call on arduous struggle for the surviving and living right in immigration to Gando. Voice Daily, as a progressive journal representing Anti-imperialism, Anti-feudalism, a media spreading new thoughts and culture, and as a witness of historical period of that time, took an undeniable position in the journal history of Korean ethnicity in China, as well as in the journal history of Overseas Korean.
