해석의 관점에서 초단편 장르 에지뻬르쩨쉬의 서사 연구

국문 초록

헝가리 문학에서 새로운 장르(műfaj)인 초단편 "에지뻬르쩨쉬(egyperces)"의 창시자로 알려진 작가 외르께늬 이슈뜨반(Örkény István, 1912-1979)은 자신의 에지뻬르쩨쉬를 하나의 수학 방정식으로 설명한 바 있다. 작가의 최소한의 표현으로 구성된 좌변과 독자들의 최대한의 해석으로 이루어지는 우변으로 비유했는데, 이는 자신의 초단편 에지뻬르쩨쉬에 대한 독자들의 해석의 중요성을 일면 강조한 표현이라고 할 수 있을 것이다. 본고에서는 초단편 장르 중 에지뻬르쩨쉬와 그 형식적 유사성을 보이고 있는 미니멀리즘 작품들과 미니픽션 작품들을 살펴보고, 이들 작품의 해석과 구분되는 에지뻬르쩨쉬의 서사구조에 대한 특징을 알아보고자 한다. 에지뻬르쩨쉬의 경우, 거론한 두 장르와 비교하여 형식적으로 상당히 유사하며, 장르적 특징에 있어서도 많은 공통점을 찾을 수 있음에도 불구하고, 이중적인 서사구조에 대한 해석의 관점에서, 다른 두 장르에서는 볼 수 없는 지역화(lokalizáció)된 알레고리를 담고 있기에 독자들의 더욱 폭넓은 인지환경을 요구하고 있다.

영문 초록

The genre of short short story has been developed and evolved into more detail genre. I tried to compare Egyperces which is representative hungarian short short story with minimalism and mini fiction in this paper. As we can guess of the meaning of minimalism from the naming of it, minimalism is an tendency of all the fields of art for curtailment and it was spread on 60's and 70's, especially in North America. This current of art had influence on the literature, so very implicit genre which has particularly short with the viewpoint formal aesthetics could be born. It made a difference short story from the short story originated from 19th century. The genre of mini fiction is also a kind of short short story which has moderate wording. This genre dated back to the 1950's, and it is still popular genre for people to compose not only in South America where it originated, but also North America and South Korea too. In case of egyperce, although its naming dated back to 1968 when the name of book, Novels of Egyperces was shown to the public, actually Örkény published his egyperces from 1940. We can find many of common things among these three genres both in the formal range and in the characteristic genre. Despite them, the egyperces need more detailed cognitive environment of its readers, because in the viewpoint of double structure of narrative, it contains the localized allegory in the implicit works separately. That is why Nádas Péter who is hungarian writer and nominated Nobel Prize in literature almost every year, mentioned that to read Örkény's works is like to swimming in the ocean.
