국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 Fredrickson의 긍정적 정서의 확장-축적 이론에 근거하여, 행복과 창의성을 독립변인으로 하고 학업성취를 종속변인으로 하는 구조적 관계를 탐색함에 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 표집한 연구대상은 대구 경북에 소재하는 대학교 재학생 541명(남: 222명， 여 319)을 대상으로 하였으며, 연구모형은 선행연구와 이론들을 바탕으로 설정하였다. 연구모형을 탐색한 결과, 적합도는 양호하였으나 몇몇 모형의 경로계수는 유의하지 않는 것으로 나타났기 때문에 모형수정의 필요성이 제기되었다. 모형수정은 합리적인 절차에 의하여 단계를 거쳐 제안되었으며, 최종수정모형은 적합하면서도 간명한 것으로 나타났다. 분석결과 Fredrickson의 긍정적 정서의 확장-축적 이론은 부분적으로 지지되었으며, 긍정적 정서로서 행복은 창의성(창의적 환경과 성향)과 학업성적에 유의한 영향력이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 창의적 환경은 학업성적에 부정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 최종수정모형의 세부적인 검토와 함께, 이 연구의 시사점과 향후 연구의 과제를 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study, based on Fredrickson's broaden-and-build theory of positive emotion, is to demonstrate the structural relationship between subjective well-being as an independent variable and creativity as a mediator variable, and academic achievement as a dependant variable. To accomplish this purpose, 541 undergraduate students (222 males, 319 females) located in Daegu, Gyeongbuk region were randomly sampled for study. The research showed some of the models were acceptable for their improved parsimony as well as their goodness of fit in variables. On the other hand, others needed to be modified. A modifying research model was suggested on moderate process through sequences. The analyzed results lend support to Fredrickson's the broaden-and-build theory of positive emotion. The result shows that positive emotion as a factor of subjective well-being has a significant influence to creativity and academic achievement. And it also shows that creative environment as mediator variable has negative influence to academic achievement. Examinations detailed of the final model were discussed with related implication and hereafter works.
