국문 초록

최근 국내 철도물류의 경우 성장률 정체 및 판매부진 현상을 겪으면서 매년 약 4천여억 원의 적자를 보이고 있다. 철도물류의 사업다각화 방안이 한국철도공사의 경영환경을 개선시키는 대안으로 떠오르고 있다. 이러한 측면에서 본 연구에서는 다속성의사결정법의 일종인 Fuzzy-TOPSIS 방법을 사용하여 철도물류 사업자의 최적 신규사업을 선정하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 하였다. 전문가의 In-depth interview 결과, 신규사업은 1) 벌크 및 컨테이너 화물 복합운송업, 2) 물류 정보시스템 개발업, 3) 고속도로 등 휴게소 운영업, 4)국제물류 주선업, 5) 물류창고업으로 분석되었다. 방법론을 적용한 결과 사업다각화시 5가지의 철도물류 신규사업 중에서 벌크 및 컨테이너화물 복합운송업(0.977)이 가장 전망이 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 다음은 "물류창고업(0.892)", "물류정보시스템 개발업(0.8778)"으로 순으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

Recently Railway logistics in Korea has recorded a heavy deficit such as 400 billion Korean Won due to low profitability and drop in sales. The diversification of Railway logistics is emerging as the solutions and/or alternatives to boost up the business environment of Korea Railroad Corporation. In this respect, the aim of this research is to select new business of railway logistics using Multi-Criteria Decision Making Method so called, Fuzzy-TOPSIS (Fuzzy-Technique for Order Performance by Similarity to Ideal Solution) methodology. Based on In-depth interview of expert groups, 5 new businesses were drawn out such as 1) Multi-modal transportation for Bulk and container cargoes, 2) Business for development of logistics information system, 3) Business for expressway service area, 4) Freight forwarding for international logistics, and 5) warehousing business. After the adaptation of methodology, overall priority and weight of new businesses can be obtained. Multi-modal transportation for Bulk and container cargoes (0.977) is selected as the most important business, while warehousing business (0.892), and Business for development of logistics information system (0.8778), are ranked as second and third respectively.
