국문 초록

본 연구는 수도권의 물류혁신 클러스터 구축 방안을 제시 하고자 하였으며, 현재 수도권은 산업적 특성과 물류기반 시설의 클러스터화와 산업의 집적화와 경쟁력을 갖추고 있는 수도권 물류혁신 클러스터 구축으로 시너지 효과를 극대화할 필요가 있다. 수도권 물류 혁신 클러스터를 구축하기 위해서는 시스템화와 산업연구소, 대학 및 공공 조직간의 집적화와 네트워크화를 통해서 경쟁 우위를 확보 하도록 하고 국가 경쟁력을 위해서는 지역산업 경쟁력의 선도가 중요하며, 이를 위해서는 수도권 지자체간의 협력체제구축과 수도권 규제완화가 필요하다. 수도권 규제는 궁극적으로 불합리적이며 수도권의 모든 산업과 지역에 관련된 문제로서 산업의 경쟁력 확보와 국내외 투자가 조성 되고 활성화 되도록 하여 져야 하는 점과 한국의 수도권은 기업경쟁력 분야에서 뉴욕, 런던, 파리, 도쿄 등의 선진국 대도시권보다 크게 떨어져 있고 산업 인프라에서도 격차를 보이고 있다. 세계화 수준, 특화산업 발달정도 산업구조, 기반시설 정비 상태 등에서도 뒤쳐져, 있으며, 특화 산업 발달 정도는 중국에도 뒤쳐져 있어 본 연구의 결과로서 산업 경쟁력 회복이 더욱 필요 한 점 등을 제시 하였다.

영문 초록

In recognition of the changing business climate in North East Asia and the importance of logistics activity to Korea economic development, this paper set out to explore the model of metropolitan logistics clusters. The objective of this study is to provide strategic understanding of what measures might be necessary in order to improve the national economic environment for logistics and ultimately impact upon the productivity and wealth generation of the businesses in Korea. It is proposed that the logistics clusters in Metropolitan area might be a suitable means of fostering the nation’s business activities at the intersection of new economic paradigms. In the light of the movement away from a central government-controlled Metropolitan industry, the need for alternative models for logistics development in Korea was also identified. The paper emphasizes the importance of developing the cooperative relationships among universities, industries and governmental organizations. This study believes that the development of urban logistic clusters could support linkages between related and supporting industries in the context of Korea’s economy and its shift towards a ‘logistics hub in North-East Asia’, given the presence of the advantageous endowments in Metropolitan Area.
