This paper first presents an overview of the intergovernmental fiscal coordination system reform in Germany after Reunification.
There recently has been some research about alternative models for the mechanism of intergovernmental fiscal coordination system in Germany.
This paper compares these models with the system of intergovernmental fiscal coordination in a reunited Korea. This comparison shows the necessary requirements of a Korean solution of the intergovernmental fiscal coordination system and how these requirements could be achieved.
