영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyse the geographic range of Gando area by combining the approach method of cadastral science with an artificial satellite photograph. As the result, we firstly determined the location of Gando area as follows; - the edge of East : ten degrees nine minutes thirteen seconds of the North latitude and one hundred forty one degrees thirty two minutes forty one seconds of the East longitude. - the edge of West : forty degrees thirty minutes twenty one seconds of the North latitude and one hundred twenty one degrees eleven minutes forty two seconds of the East longitude. - the edge of South : thirty eight degrees forty three minutes seventeen seconds of the North latitude and one hundred twenty one degrees eleven minutes forty two seconds of the East longitude. - the edge of North : fifty three degrees twenty minutes fifty six seconds of the North latitude and one hundred thirty nine degrees fifty minutes fifty nine seconds of the East longitude. Secondly, we worked out the area of Gando at 777,748㎢ which come near to 3.5times of Han peninsular. It could be concretely expressed at 220,431㎢(West Gando), 243,744㎢(East Gando) and 313,573㎢(the Maritime Province of Siberia). Finally, we examined that the shape of Gando is comprised of the Maritime Province of Siberia, East Gando and West Gando, located to the north of Yalu River. It is very similar to Han peninsular. Although we analysed and presented the location, size and shape of Gando, we should recognized that it is very hard to recover the territory of Gando. Therefore, the government should proclaim that the Gando area is korean territory and try to support in many directions. We strongly expect that this study can led to our descendant to realize the problems of Gando territory.
