영문 초록

Mesopotamian civilization is the most ancient one in the world while Ancient Shu is one of the oldest cradles of Chinese civilization. Both of the places have the earliest and the most prosperous cities in the world. Despite the towering city wall and the well developed economy, the different status of foreign trade in social economy and the different effect of military action involved in foreign trade make these two ancient civilizations present different features, exhibiting different wisdom and power in the twinkling light of civilization. This paper analyzes the form of social administration of Ancient Shu and Mesopotamia by means of comparing the status and effect of military action involved in foreign trade in these areas.
