창의력 교육에 대한 초등학교 교사의 실태 조사

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 창의력 교육에 대한 교사들의 실태를 파악하는데 있다. 이를 위해 인천에 있는 587명을 대상으로 35문항으로 구성된 설문을 통해 실시하였다. 설문 조사 결과는 다음과 같다. 교사들이 창의력 교육에 대한 이해면에 있에 대부분의 교사들은 창의적 활동이 생활하는데 있어 매우 필요(97.7%)하다고 생각하고 있으며 선천적인 것보다 교육을 통해 육성될 수 있다고 생각하는 교사는 18.0%에 불과하였다. 학급에서 창의력 교육은 주로 정규 교과시간 이외의 아침자습시간(46.5%), 특별반 활동(12.7%)에서 이루어지고 있었다. 교과시간은 미술과, 국어과 및 자연과에서 주로 실시되고 있었으며 교수ㆍ학습시 대부분의 교사들이 창의기법 중 마인드 맵을 가장 많이 활용(65.0%)하고 있었다. 교사 자신의 창의적인 태도에 있어 대부분이 창의력 활동에 대해 충분히 이해하고 있고(85.4%) 연수(79.1%)와 동료간의 협의(75.2%)가 잘 이루어지고 있으며 교사 자신의 창의력을 기르기에 열심히 노력(75.5%)하고 있었다. 따라서 지도안과 활동지 제작에 있어 다양한 자료를 활용할 뿐 아니라 발문시 창의력을 고려(91.4%)한다고 조사되었다. 창의적인 환경면에 있어 학교 관리자와 동료 교사 모두 창의력 교육에 대한 열의가 높게 나타났고(59.7%), 학급을 운영(92.1%)이나 환경 구성시 창의력을 고려(92.7%)하고 있으며 학생의 창의력 신장을 위해서는 학교와 가정의 학부모의 역할도 중요하다고 생각(98.5%)하고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the current creativity instructional states for teachers’ in elementary school located in Inchon. For this, 35 item-questionares were given to 587 teachers. The results of this study were as follows : in the respect of understanding creative instruction, most of teachers admitted the need of creative educational activity (97.7%). But they thought that creativity is inborn instead of learned(18.0%). Generally creative instruction in classes was performed as morning self-regularity study(46.5%), extra activity(12.7%) except regular course. They had been most the mind mapping techniques in creativity activity(65.0%). In the respect of themselves attitude for creative education, the survey showed that most of teachers understand creative activities very well(85.4%), participate in workshop holding organ of education(79.1%) and consulting with colleague teachers(75.2%), do hard to improve creativity of themselves(75.5%). Also they were to consider creativity when they ask students a question(91.4%). In the. respect of creative environment, they thought that both principals and colleagues teachers have a great deal of enthusiasm on creative education(59.7%). They was to consider creativity of students when they manage the class(92.1%) and design the classroom(92.7%). Also they thought that both teacher and parent must play an important role for improvement of students’ creativity(98.5%).
