The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of an integrated subject program using English stories in the second grade of the primary school. For this purpose, English stories concerning the level of development in second grade students were chosen and the current primary school curriculum for second grade was analysed and the program was developed using the Multiple Intelligence Theory. One class of 2nd grades in elementary school were selected as the subjects of study and the experiment was conducted for 16 times. To testify the effects of an integrated subject program using English stories, the tests of English ability and affective areas were enforced twice, before and after treatment. Also, the test for Multiple Intelligence for primary school students was given and the results from characteristic students in the level and Multiple Intelligence about this program were analyzed. In addition, this program was introduced to primary school teachers and after school teachers in training course for teachers, then the educational effects and supplements were examined. The results of the study were as follows. First, the integrated subject program using English stories was effective in the field of recognition and emotion. Second, there was meaningful development in quality following the level of students’ ability applying the integrated subject program using English stories. Third, there was meaningful development in quality following the characters of students in Multiple Intelligence Theory applying the integrated subject program using English stories.
