영문 초록

1. CONTENTS (1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES The purpose of this study is to compare the feasibility of redevelopment project and reconstruction project for blighted detached dwelling areas, and thereby to consider the rationality of living institutions. (2) RESEARCH METHOD This study was divided into three parts. 1) The institutions of redevelopment project and reconstruction project for blighted detatched dwelling areas were compared. 2) Economic mechanism of these project was set-up. 3) Feasiblity study for potential development sites was performed. (3) RESEARCH FINDINGS In the results of this survey, two development methods for blighted dwelling areas have different profitability because of external factors of economic mechanism rather than internal. 2. RESULTS This study shows that although two development methods have similar purpose and target, they have different profitability. So this study insists on reforming the irrational system and offers an alternative which is to coordinate these two development methods.
