국문 초록

이 연구는 루소의 인간관에 대한 논의를 토대로 통일교육의 방향을 새롭게 제시하고자 하는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 루소는 자연인이 타락함으로써 문명사회에서 자기소외에 처했음을 지적한다. 이는 타인과의 관계에서의 경쟁적ㆍ대립적 인간으로의, 국가와 사회와의 관계에서 종속적ㆍ순응적 인간으로의 전락을 의미한다. 분단사회가 보여주는 인간상이 바로 이러한 대립적 인간, 순응적 인간이다. 통일교육의 인간상은 이러한 대립적 인간, 순응적 인간의 자기소외를 극복하고 관계성을 회복하는 인간이다. 이는 동정심 계발교육과 시민교육, 민족동질성 교육과 민주시민교육의 결합, 소극적 자유로부터 적극적 자유로의 고양교육 등을 통해 이루어질 수 있다.

영문 초록

This thesis aims to review Rousseau’s view of human being and its implication on the reunification education. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, Rousseau suggested that human being is alienated from each other in modern society. Furthermore, Dived structure get worse the alienation of human being in Korea. Under a dived nation circumstances, South Korea’s education emphasized anti-communism, while North Korea’s education emphasized anti-capitalism, devotion to the party and ‘Suryong’ devoid of freedom. So under a dived nation circumstances, Korea Peoples get worse the alienation of human being. Second, View of human for unification education through Rousseau’s ideas is to overcome to the alienation of human being in Korea, to convert from divided man to unified man, to cultivate the natural man society, namely unified man. Third, Formulating relationship education and positive education in unification education is Rousseau’s educational remedy. Formulating relationship education protects people from vice and fallacy under a divided nation circumstances and formulates relationship between South and North Korea’s peoples and each other. So people get a pity to everyone in natural state and love and help the other people with brotherhood and humanism. Positive education is the education for developing citizenship, patriotism and moral sense. So people are born new as ‘a social man’. As this time they have social freedom as society members and positive freedom by developing, citizenship and patriotism.
