국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 평생교육사 관련 교과목을 이수하고 있는 대학생들의 일반적 자기효능감과 특수적 자기효능감을 알아보고 자기효능감에 영향을 미치는 변인을 구명하기 위함이다. 궁극적으로 두 효능감에 영향을 미치는 변인들을 구명하여 향후 평생교육사 관련 교과목 운영의 개선방향에 시사점을 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 설문조사를 실시하였고 자료수집은 편의표집방법을 사용하였다. 도구의 신뢰도 검증을 위해 예비조사를 실시하였고 전문가 6인에게 내용타당도를 검증받았다. 2009학년도 2학기에 서울, 인천, 충청, 경북 지역에 위치한 6개 대학의 225명의 대학생의 자료를 수집한 후 자료 분석은 일원량분석, 사후비교를 위해 scheffe 검증, 그리고 상관분석, 단계적 중다회귀분석을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 평생교육사 자격증 취득을 목적으로 수강하는 학생들이 교양과목 이수학점을 취득하기 위하여 수강하는 학생들보다 일반적 자기효능감이 높았다. 둘째, 중다회귀분석 결과 연령은 일반적 자기효능감에 미미하게나마 영향을 미치는 변인이었다. 셋째, 평생교육사 자기효능감에 영향을 미치는 가장 중요한 영향을 미치는 변인은 일반적 자기효능감으로 나타났고 다음으로는 연령으로 나타났다. 본 결과로부터 이수과정동안 특수적 자기효능감인 평생교육사 자기효능감과 일반적 자기효능감을 증진시키는 것이 중요하다고 결론지을 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study is to identify the general self-efficacy and specific self-efficacy of undergraduate students in a pre-service program for prospective lifelong educators and to demonstrate the variables affecting these two measures. The ultimate aim is to provide guidelines to improve the pre-service program for prospective lifelong educators by exploring the variables affecting the two measures. A survey was conducted and data were gathered by a convenience sampling method. To examine the reliability of the scales used in the study, a pilot test was conducted and the content validity of the scales was examined by 6 experts. The data from 225 college students at 6 universities located at Seoul, Inchon, Chungchung and Kyungbuk areas were analyzed by using ANOVA with Scheffe correlations and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The results showed that first, the general self-efficacy of students with the purpose of obtaining lifelong educator credentials was higher than that of students acquiring liberal education credits. Second, multiple regression demonstrated that the age variable was a slight determinant for general self-efficacy. Third, multiple regression demonstrated that the general self-efficacy and the students' age variable were the first and second most significant determinants for lifelong educator self-efficacy, respective. From the results, we concluded that it is important not only to improve lifelong educator self-efficacy as specific self-efficacy but also to improve general self-efficacy during the programs.
