국문 초록

이 연구에서는 Touchmath 원리와 직접교수를 적용한 수학지도가 자폐성 장애학생의 덧셈, 뺄셈 연산 수행능력에 미치는 효과를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 특수학교 중학부 2․3학년에 재학하는 자폐성 장애 학생 3명을 연구대상으로 선정하였으며 실험효과를 검증하기 위하여 대상자간중다간헐기초선설계를 적용하였다. 중재는 덧셈 5단계, 뺄셈 4단계의 전체 9단계로 구성하였다. 연구결과, Touchmath 원리와 직접교수를 적용한 수학지도를 통해 자폐성 장애 학생의 덧셈 및 뺄셈 연산 수행의 향상이 나타났으며 중재가 종료된 후에도 중재로 인한 효과가 유지되었다. 이는 Touchmath의 원리와 직접교수를 적용한 연산 프로그램이 자폐성 장애 학생의 덧셈과 뺄셈 수행능력 향상에 효과적임을 알 수 있었다. 연구 결과는 자폐성 장애 학생의 수학과 지도에 대한 의미 있는 논의를 제공한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of touchmath program and direct instruction on the addition and subtraction computation performance of autistic disorder students. The subjects were three students with autistic disorders, who were middle school student. In order to demonstrate the effect of this study, the multiple probe baseline design across subjects were conducted. Under the intervention, five steps of addition and four steps of subtraction, total nine steps were applied on the experiment. To see the effect of this study, a researcher made twenty-five questions to evaluate the calculation, and estimated, collected the research materials for further application. The results of this study were as follows: The math programs based on touchmath principle and direct instruction were effective to increase the addition and subtration computation performance for the students with autistic disorder, and the computation performance increased during intervention period was maintained. The result of this study was debated with being related to the precedent study and suggested about the limitation of its experiment and further study.
