국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 자곤을 그 주요 증상으로하는 실어증자들에게 모니터링을 향상시켜 신조어를 감소시킴으로써 의미있는 적절한 단어의 산출과 전반적인 구어를 향상시키는 가장 최선의 방법을 연구하는 것이다. 이 목적을 위해서, 뇌졸중 발병 이후 적절한 단어 산출의 감소와 자곤을 산출하는 3명의 실어증 환자들이 선정되었다. 연구 방법은 첫 번째 치료 기간에 지연 모니터링을, 두 번째 치료 기간에는 즉시 모니터링을 실시하여 사전 사후 검사를 하였다. 이 연구를 통하여 적절한 단어 산출, 일반화, 신조어의 감소, 전반적인 언어 능력의 향상도를 알아보았다. 평가는 대구 실어증 진단 검사와 한국판 보스톤 이름대기, 저자에 의해 고안된 일반화 검사지로 실시하였다. 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 모든 대상자들은 단어 인출시 신조어 감소와 적절한 단어 산출이 향상되었다. 둘째, 치료하지 않은 비훈련 어휘에서도 정반응이 나타나는 등 일반화 효과가 나타났다. 셋째, 전반적인 언어 능력이 향상되었다. 그러나 각 연구결과가 지연 모니터링과 즉시 모니터링에서 일관되지 않았으며 추후 다양한 연구들이 필요함을 나타낸다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to find the most suitable way to improve speech and selection of the meaningful right words with decreasing neologism through the improved monitoring for jargon aphasia. For this purpose, three subjects were selected who had shown the decreased production of words, neologism and jargon as a result of stroke. The study was divided into two phases, the first treatment and second treatment. The prompt monitoring technique and the delay monitoring technique were adopted for the each phase, respectively. We used a pre-treatment and post-treatment test to find out the variations concerning improvement of word retrieval, the effect of generalization, the deduction of neologism, and the overall language production. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and a t-test with the use of SPSS software(version 10). The assessments were conducted by the Daegu Aphasia Test, Korean-Boston Naming Test, and a generalized valuation sheet that was designed by the author. The results obtained from the present study were as follows: First, all the subjects showed the improvement on their word production. Second, they showed the effect of generalization. Third, they showed the deduction of their neologism. Fourth, they showed the improvement on the generalized language ability.
