국문 초록

최근 들어 디지털 텍스타일 프린팅 분야는 기술의 발달과 수요의 증가로 급속도로 발전하고 있다. 이는 기계속도 증가로 인한 생산성 향상 및 컬러 표현 범위 증가 등 기존 디지럴 텍스타일 프린팅이 가지고 있는 단점을 보완해 가며 기존의 날염시장을 대체해 나아갈 것으로 예상된다. 그러나 아직까지는 스크린 날염의 장점인 뛰어난 진색 표현력 및 배면 침투율을 보완할 수 있는 기술개발이 이루어지지 않아 정확한 색채 구현이 미흡한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 스크린 날염과 디지털 텍스타일 프린팅에 의해 구현되는 제품의 색채를 비교하여 장.단점을 분석함으로써，디자인 작업시 제품의 정확한 색상 표현을 위해 필요한 효과적인 색채 관리지침을 제시하고자 하였다. 스크린 날염과 디지털 텍스타일 프린팅에 의해 구현되는 색상을 비교해 보면 텍스타일 프린팅은 발색과 칼라구현에서 스크린 날염에 비해 좋지 못하다. 특히 진색과 연색，무채색 구현의 어려움이 따른다는 점을 알 수 있다. 본 연구의 과정에서 나타난 몇몇 칼라의 표현 미흡과 같은 단점을 디자인 작업시 참고한다면 좀 더 디자인의도에 접근한 결과물을 얻을 수 있을 것으로 본다.

영문 초록

Recently the area of digital texti le printing is rapidly developing due to the improvement of technology and the increase in demand. It is expected to make up for the weak points of the traditional digital textile printing and replace the existing printing market by improving productivity with more speed of machines and increasing the extent of color display. Still, an accurate implementation of color is unsat isfactory because there has not been a technology developed, which would be able to make up for the rear permeability as well as the excellent true- color display, an advantage of screen printing. The purpose of this study is to present an effective color management guideline necessary for an accurate color display in case of designing by comparing products' colors of screen printing and those of digital textile printing and analyzing their strengths and weaknesses. Compared with the colors of screen printing, digital textile printing was found less satisfactory in color development and implementation than screen printing. In particular, it was difficult for textile printing to implement true, rendering and achromatic color. If such weaknesses as inadequacy of color implementation found in the process of this study are referred to in designing, it is expected to achieve results more approximate to the purpose of design.
