영문 초록

This study applied reports on fact-finding of national craft industry conducted in Korean Craft Promotion Foundation from May 23rd to August 21st, 2008 to analyze around 1,607 samples in five metropolitan areas for correspondence to this researcher's main subject. And for the construction of craft culture industry by metropolitan area, it analyzed in priority the competitiveness of innovative resources by 4 factors (agglomeration economy, innovation willingness, networking, embeddedness) by applying M. Porter's diamond model. The result of this study showed that Seoul/metropolitan area are the highest, followed by Honam/Jeju area, Gangwon/central area, Daegu/Gyeongbuk area and Busan/Gyeongnam area in competitiveness. Consequently, this study proved they have the good possibility as factors that analyze the competitiveness of innovative resources for the construction of craft culture industry, as this competitiveness is surveyed by things like sales size by metropolitan area and market share.
