(Our ancestors managed their health and skin with natural materials. Basing on the viewpoint, this thesis developed the manufacturing courses of eco-friendly natural soaps with charcoals and fluid extracted from Broussonetia kazinoki Siebold. In addition, this thesis compared and analysed its effect. The results are as followings. First, tools and materials such as traditional potteries, hanji, distilled water,and paper filters are necessary for gathering Broussonetia kazinoki Siebold lye. When operators gather lye, five courses have to be gone through such as 「Burning Broussonetia kazinoki Siebold in potteries -> taking out charcoals -> immersing charcoals in distilled water -> leaching lye -> drawing upper water」. Second, ingredient analyses said that Broussonetia kazinoki Siebold lye, excellent in cleaning capability with much kalium content. was as slippery as general lye and had a little weak alkali traits with low PH. Third, tools and materials such as anti-heat potteries, Broussonetia kazinoki Siebold, and distilled water, are necessary for extracting fluid. Three extracting courses are 「filling distilled water in anti-heat potteries and putting Broussonetia kazinoki Siebold cut in a small size -> boiling water for longer than three hours and cooling water when it is decreased in half -> picking up Broussonetia kazinoki Siebold and extracting yellow brown fluid」. Fourth, natural soap manufacturing courses with Broussonetia kazinoki Siebold lye and Broussonetia kazinoki Siebold fluid are six courses such as 「weighing base oil -> producing caustic soda fluid -> saponifying -> adding additives -> pouring into frames -> cutting」, which manufacture a variety of natural sodas with materials such as essential oil, base oil, and other additives. Fifth, natural soaps manufactured through study courses showed the level similar to common soaps in cleaning items, but they showed excellency generally in other items. Especially they showed conspicuous improvements, compared with common soaps in the items of skin drying and skin moisturizing. The study result says that taking over and developing wisdoms of our ancestors who managed bodies and skin health with natural materials and developing and using excellent eco-friendly natural soaps with Broussonetia kazinoki Siebold lye and extracted fluid promote human life quality and satisfy social expectation of preventing from circumstance pollution. The result says that taking over and developing wisdom of our ancestors who managed bodies and skin health with natural materials and developing and using excellent eco-friendly natural soaps with Broussonetia kazinoki Siebold and extracted fluid promote human life quality and satisfy social expectation of preventing from circumstance pollution. In the end, foregoing study has to focus on optimize the strong point which natural soaps have; as a peculiar trait, natural soaps are saponified at a low temperature. Instable nutrients such as essential oil, ferment, and vitamin can be added to natural soaps stably to make various soaps. In the future, continuous and additional study is essential.
