중등교육목적의 철학적 논의

국문 초록

본 논문은 중등교육목적체계를 효과적으로 논의하기 위하여 다음의 관심에 한정시켜 고찰하도록 한다. 첫째, 중등학교에서 교육목적이론이 교육학의 다른 교육행위에 따른 교육이론과 어떤 관련성을 지니고 있는지 밝혀, 중등교육현장에서 교육목적의 행위가 교육학 안의 다른 교육이론의 행위들과의 밀접한 상호작용을 통해 능률적인 교육실천을 할 수 있도록 하는 데 도움을 주려고 한다. 둘째, 중등교육목적의 규범적 준거를 고찰함으로써, 오늘날 갈등하는 중등교육목적체계 가운데 교육목적 설정의 가치방향에 대한 시사점을 얻어 이를 구체적으로 실현하는 데 도움을 주려고 한다. 셋째, 구체적으로 중등교육목적의 설정기준을 살펴봄으로써, 중등교육현장의 교육목적 설정에 시사를 받아 중등교육목적을 정립하는 데 도움을 얻고 나아가 이를 실질적으로 구현하는 데 도움을 주려고 한다. 위와 같은 목적에 따라 현재 중등교육목적체계의 개선점에 대해 다음과 같은 몇 가지 결론을 제안 하고자 한다. 첫째, 중등교육현장의 교육실천을 실제적으로 이끌어 줄 중등교육목적체계에 대한 연구가 구체적으로 이루어 져야 할 것이다. 둘째, 교육학의 하위영역으로서 교육이념, 교육목적, 교육목표, 수업목표, 교육목적의 개념 등의 이론들이 교육학과의 강좌로서 강의될 수 있는 여지를 마련하도록 노력해야 할 것이다. 셋째, 현재 중등교육현장에서 진술되어 있는 교육목적체계에 대해 전반적인 검토가 있어야 할 것이다. 넷째, 현재 중등교육현장에서는 교육목적체계의 중요성에 대해 교내의 구성원들에게 새롭게 환기시켜 줄 시간을 구체적으로 마련해야 한다. 다섯째, 중등교육목적체계에 대한 다양하고도 여러 갈래로 후속적인 연구가 절실히 필요하다. 이러한 중등교육목적체계에 대한 논의는 중등교육현장의 교육목적을 새롭게 정립하는 데에 도움을 줄뿐만 아니라 중등교육을 보다 정상화시키는 데 그 초석이 되어줄 것으로 본다.

영문 초록

This paper discuss the system of aims of secondary education. The discussion could give a afresh meaning of aim of education and could bring an effective practices in secondary education. The specific purposes of this paper are as follows; First, the relevancy of theory about the aims of education will be considered to the theory about other educational act in secondary school. These kind of studies could help an effective practices at the field of education by the close mutual assistance between the acts of educational aims and the acts of other educational theory. Secondary, it will consider the normative conformity of aim of secondary education. These discussion will give a suggestion to establish a right direction of secondary education which is in dispute. Third, it will consider the standard of establishment of secondary education aim. These discussion will give a suggestion to establish the secondary education aim and help embodiment of the aim practically. The following suggestions come out from above study. First, a concrete study on the system of secondary educational aim should be done to guide an educational practice in the field of secondary education. Second, the theories about idea of education, aim of education, purpose of education, goal of instruction as a subarea of pedagogy should be lectured in a department of education. Third, an intensive examination to aim system of education in the field of secondary education are necessary. Fourth, it should be prepared that the member of school recognize the importance of aim of education in the field of secondary education. Fifth, a various and continuous study about the aim system of secondary education are necessary very seriously.
