국문 초록

장자는 당시 사회가 안고 있는 문제를 인간 본성을 회복하는 수양을 통해 이상적인 인간을 육성함으로써 해결할 수 있다고 보았다. 따라서 우리는『莊子』에 나타난 교육사상을 고찰함으로써 올바른 인성을 가진 인간을 육성하는 인성교육에 좋은 시사점을 찾을 수 있다. 장자는 수양을 통해 이상적 인간을 육성하기 위해서는 첫째, 부정적 마음을 버리는 마음 닦음의 교육을 해야 한다고 보았고 둘째, 타고난 소질을 키우는 본성중심의 개성교육을 중시했으며 셋째, 남과 더불어 살아갈 수 있는 관용교육을 강조했고 넷째, 내적인 아름다움을 키울 수 있는 교육이 필요함을 시사하고 있다. 우리는 장자의 교육내용과 방법을 인성교육의 현장에 적용해 봄으로써 우리교육이 안고 있는 문제의 해결과 올바른 품성을 가진 인간을 길러내는데 도움을 주리라 본다.

영문 초록

Chuang Tzu thought the social problems of thouse days could be solved by rearing ideal human being through a self-culture that recovered human being's nature. So, through educational idea in the book of Chuang Tzu, we found the educational suggestion for upright education that has the essential humanism for society now. Chuang Tzu said the human being could come to the ideal human by self-culture and at first, we have to be educated by mind-training for being that. For this fact, we have to cultivate positive consideration, not negative thoughts and knowledge. This contents are opportune at now days and we can apply to a meditative education. Second, Chuang Tzu thought individual education which was focused on the nature for rearing ideal human. For preserving it, we have to do away with fixed system and convention, also have to do the individual education will need surely that can make students to improve their character, aptitude and ability. Third, Chuang Tzu pointed tolerant education for living with others. All things are equal. So, we need that exclude a selfish judgement, respect and accept others' various value. For cultivating like those, we need the living together education from one's Environment with nature and the tolerant education of accepting others' variety and relativity. At last, we need an education that help growing inner beauty for realizing the ideal human. The true beauty is not outward but inner beauty. It is the giving heart, the act from heart and the love for all things alive. We must educate to be a human who can love beauty like that. Till now, Korean education has been making distorting human and cultured by paying value on the uniform and formal thing. We could be helping to solving our educational system's problems and presenting course of humanism education through applying this Chuang Tzu's contents and theory to Korean.
