지체장애인의 생활체육 참여에 따른 자신감과 생활만족도

국문 초록

이 연구는 지속적으로 증가하고 있는 지체장애인의 생활체육 참여가 자신감 및 생활만족도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 규명하고, 장애인 생활체육에 대한 필요성과 의의를 환기시킴으로써 나아가 장애인 체육의 활성화에 기여 할 수 있도록 하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상자는 A시와 B도에 거주하는 장애인 생활체육 동호인 중 장애판정을 받은 지체장애인을 대상으로 연구자가 집락으로 추출된 장애인 복지 체육관, 직업 재활원, 동호인 클럽 등을 직접 방문하여 총 302명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료 처리는 SPSS WIN Version 17.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 배경변인에 따른 분석을 위해서는 독립 t-test를 사용하였고, 생활체육 참여에 따른 자심감과 생활만족도를 알아보기 위해 일원변량분석(One-way ANOVA)을 사용하여 평균과 표준편차를 산출한 뒤 유의한 차이가 있는 요인에 대해 Scheffe의 사후 검정을 실시하였다. 통계 분석을 위한 유의수준은 .05로 설정하였다. 이 연구의 결과를 종합해 볼 때, 지체장애인의 생활체육 참여가 자신감에 미치는 영향은 성별, 연령, 직업, 종목에 따라 영향을 준다는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 생활만족도에서는 성별, 장애원인을 제외한 나머지 특성들이 영향을 준다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 사실을 근거로 지체장애인들의 생활체육 참여를 보다 활성화 시킬 수 있는 여건을 만들어야 할 것이라고 사료된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research was to clarify the effects of daily life sports participation of people with disabilities in steady increase on confidence and daily life satisfaction, and contribute for the promotion of active participation on the sports for the people with disabilities by awakening the necessity and meaning of daily life of the people with disabilities. The research subjects are totally 302 people with disabilities determined the disabled among members of disabled daily life sports group living in 'A' city and 'B' province, and the researcher visited the field of sport activities such as welfare sport gymnasium, vocational rehabilitation institution, and sport club, etc., to obtain the subject' answers using SPSS WIN Version 17.0 statistical program with independent t-test and One-way ANOVA, and Scheffe post test to clarify the significant differences in the comparisons of demographic variables on the daily life satisfaction and their confidence level. The significance level for statistical analysis was set to .05. In conclusion, it was shown that participation of people with disabilities in daily life sports affects confidence depending on gender, age, occupation and event, and daily life satisfaction degree is affected by the rest characteristics except for gender and disability cause. It is presumed that on such basis, conditions shall be established that can further activate participation of people with disabilities in daily life sports.
