일반아동과 발달장애 아동의 시지각 발달과 손 기능의 상관관계

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 일반아동과 발달장애 아동을 대상으로 하여 시지각 발달과 손 기능의 상관관계를 알아보고자 하였다. 대전 및 충남 소재의 6～8세의 학령전기 아동들(일반아동 15명, 발달장애 아동 15명)을 대상으로 하였다. 아동의 시지각 능력을 측정하기 위해 한국판 시지각 발달 검사(K-DTVP-Ⅱ)를 사용하여 평가하였으며, 손의 기민성을 평가하기 위하여 젭슨-테일러손 기능 검사(Jebsen & Taylor hand function test)를 사용하였다. 일반아동의 시지각 발달과 우세손 기능, 전체 아동의 시지각 발달과 손 기능 사이에 상관관계가 나타났다. 일반아동과 장애 아동의 시지각 발달과 손 기능은 유의한 차이를 보였다. 일반적 특성에 따른 시지각 발달과 손 기능의 차이를 확인한 결과 일반 아동의 시지각 발달과 우세손 기능은 각각 연령, 연령과 기관에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였다. 전체 아동을 대상으로 했을 때도 시지각 발달은 연령과 기관, 우세손 기능은 연령에 따라 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 일반아동의 시지각 발달과 손 기능(우세손) 사이에 상관성이 나타났다. 발달장애 아동의 시지각 발달과 손 기능 사이에는 상관성이 나타나지 않았다. 일반아동과 발달장애 아동의 시지각 발달 및 손 기능에 차이가 있다. 일반아동의 시지각 발달과 손 기능의 일부 영역은 발달장애 아동보다 우세하다. 일반아동 및 전체 아동의 시지각 발달과 손 기능(우세손)은 일반적 특성(연령, 기관)에 따라 차이를 보였다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과는 장애아동의 시지각과 손기능의 발달을 평가하고 이를 토대로 발달장애 아동을 위한 적절한 교육과 치료를 제공하기 위한 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The Purpose of this study was to examin the relationship between visual perception development and hand function of typically developing and developmental disorder children. From 20 October through 17 November in 2006, we visited 2 kindergartens, 2 elementary schools, 1 special school in Dae-jeon and Chung-nam. Subjects in this study were 30 childrens(15 typically developing and 15 developmental disorder children, 6～8 years old). Korean Developmental test of Visual Perception(K-DTVP Ⅱ) were employed for evaluation tool for visual perception ability. And Jebson & Taylor hand function test were employed for evaluation tool for hand function. A Significant difference was found between subjects' performance on K-DTVP Ⅱ and Jebsen & Taylor hand function test. Visual perception and dominant hand of normal children on general characters were significantly different. We identified significant difference that visual perception development and dominant hand function of total children, but not in same general characters. These results indicate that there is a correlation between visual perception development and dominant hand function of typically developing children and between visual perception development and hand function of total children. Between visual perception development and hand function of normal and developmental disorder children was different. Some parts of visual perception development and hand function in typically developing children were better than developmental disorder children's. Visual perception development and hand function(dominant hand) of normal and total children were different on some of general characters. Correlation of visual perception development and hand function(dominant hand) of typically developing children were found out but visual perception development and hand function in developmental disorder children were not found out.
