중국 학계의 韓國上古史 인식

국문 초록

중국학계의 고조선·부여사 연구는 동북공정이라는 프로젝트를 계기로 그 틀이 크게 달라졌다기보다는 종래 있던 다양한 해석 중 고조선·부여사가 중구사임을 강조하기 위한 연구·연구자가 선정, 부각되었던 것으로 판단된다. 그 목적은 중국학계에서의 通說化와 동북지역의 조선족과 한국·북한의 접촉에 대한 위기의식 등 복합적인 과제를 합리적으로 해결하는 데 있었다고 할 수 있다. 그런데 연구 내용들을 보면, 소위 華夷槪念등 중국의 전통적 영토·세계인식으로 회귀하는 성향을 보이고 있으며 역사관 ·방법론 등에서 문제점을 가지고 있다. 다만 이는 연구자들만의 문제라기보다는 국제교류의 결여, 정부의 정책 등 중국사회 자체에도 그 원인을 찾을 수 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해, 동아시아사를 공유해나가기 위한 학자들간의 대화와 학술교류가 요망된다.

영문 초록

The Northeast Project in China didn't bring about any dramatic changes in the studies of the history of Gojoseon and Buyeo conducted by Chinese academic circles. However, among the diverse interpretations of the region's ancient history, considerable emphasis came to be placed on specific studies and researchers claiming that the history of Gojoseon and Buyeo was part of Chinese history. They appear to have wanted to establish this idea as a common view among Chinese scholars and find a reasonable solution to the complex problem of the sense of crisis over the contact between ethnic Koreans in China and South Koreans/North Koreans, with regard to the ancient territories of Korea. Their studies reveal a trend which favors a return to China's traditional view of the world, namely that of Sino-centricity, as well as exposing certain problems with their historical perspectives and methodologies. This may be attributable to the conditions of the entire country, such as the lack of opportunities for international exchange or the government's policies, rather than the failings of individual researchers. As such, there is a need for more in-depth dialogue and exchange among scholars in connection with the effort to share the history of East Asia.
