국문 초록

  이 논문은 냉전종식 후 북일 정상화교섭과 일본의 대북한정책이 어떻게 전개되었는가를 분석한 것이다. 먼저 역사적, 지역적인 차원에서 북일정상화 교섭은 동아시아 지역에서 중요함을 설명하였다. 그리고 정상화를 촉진하는 요인과 저해하는 요인을 지적하고, 촉진요소를 증가시켜야 함을 강조하였다. 둘째로, 1990년대 이후 진행된 북일정상화 교섭을 2기로 나누어 양측이 진행한 교섭내용을 중심으로 설명하였다. 마지막으로, 고미즈미 정부가 진행한 대북한과의 교섭을 설명하고 구체적으로 어떠한 결과를 가지고 왔는지 설명하였다.

영문 초록

  This Article explains the Process of Normalization of North Korea-Japan and the Policy of Japan against North Korea after the end of the Cold War. First, What is the meaning of normalization? In the two level, the context of historical and regional is very important of northeast of asia.
  The second focus on the content of the normalization, first stage and second stage in the continuing dialogue of North Korea-Japan after the 1990.
  Finally, A visit by Koizumi to Pyongyang was realized the September 2002 to the reopening of the stopped conference. In conference, North Korea and Japan are continuing their efforts and claiming their own pending questions, as they proceeds to the normalization of relations. But, Because of the differences among them over the perception Abduction and nuclear/missile issues, the negotiations were broken off. As result, Japan is participating in the negotiation with strategy of "conversation and pressure".
