국문 초록

  Messick(1989)의 구인 타당도를 구하는 여섯 방법 중 하나인 내용 관련성과 대표성의 증거를 확립하기 위한 여러 절차를 살펴보는 것이 이 논문의 하나의 목적이다. 이 논문의 또 다른 목적은 내용 전문가들의 판정을 간단한 계수로 요약하는 Rovinelli 및 Hambleton (1977)의 계수를 변형시킨 확장된 문항-목적 합치도 계수를 제안하는 것이다. 확장된 문항-목적 합치도 계수의 통계적 특징을 목적과 문항 사이에 아무런 관련이 없다는 영가설에 가정하여 계산하였다. 이 계수를 사용하는 방법을 상세히 설명하고 다른 통계치와 비교한 예를 일본어 시험에 대한 다섯 명의 내용 전문가의 판정 자료를 사용하여 제시하였다.

영문 초록

  This paper presents a survey of procedures that can be used to establish evidence of content relevance and representativeness, that is, one of the six aspects of Messick"s (1989) construct validation. The paper also suggests a generalized index of item-objective congruence, which is modified from the index by Rovinelli and Hambleton (1977), be used to summarize the judgments of content specialists. The statistical characteristics of the generalized index of item-objective congruence were derived based on the assumption of the null hypothesis of no relation between objective and item. An illustration based on five content specialists" ratings of a Japanese proficiency test is presented to illuminate the use of the generalized index and to compare that with other statistics.
