부모 및 가족환경 변인에 따른 초등학교 1학년 아동의 학교적응과 학업성취의 차이에 대한 연구

국문 초록

  본 연구는 부모 및 가족환경에 따라 초등학교 일학년 아동의 학교 적응과 학업 성취는 어떤 차이가 있는지 밝히는데 목적을 두었다. 연구대상은 전국의 초등학교 1학년 아동, 학부모 각각 1830명과 교사 66명이었다. 부모의 양육행동검사 도구는 김명희(2001)가 DISC행동 유형에 따른 자녀양육행동 척도, 교육관여 정도 검사는 임은미(1998), 부모자녀 관계 만족도 검사는 김태현, 임선영(2004)이 각각 사용한 도구를 수정 보완하여 사용하였다. 아동의 학교 적응은 지성애, 정대현(2006)의 측정도구, 학업 성취 검사는 경기도 교육정보연구원(2006)의 평가지를 본 연구에 맞게 수정 보완하여 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 연구문제에 따라 독립표본 t검증과 일원변량분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 학교 적응은 부모의 수입, 아버지의 학력, 학부모의 회의 참가, 담임과의 면담, 부모-자녀관계 만족도, 자녀교육시간에서 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 학업 성취에서는 부모의 연령, 부모의 수입, 부모의 직업, 부모의 학력, 학부모의 회의 참가, 담임과의 면담, 부모-자녀관계 만족도, 자녀교육시간, 부모의 교육적 기대에 따라 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 이는 가정과 초등학교 간의 밀접한 연계교육을 통해 아동이 만족스런 학교 적응과 학업성취를 할 수 있도록 해야 함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

  The purpose of this study was to examine of relation between school adaptation and academic achievement of first graders of elementary school according to their parents and their family environment. Subjects were 1830 first graders and their parents and 66 teachers. It used the standard of children education behavior according to DISC behavior type of Kim Myung-Hee(2001) as a tool of parents education behavior test. It also revised and used the tools of Lim Eun Mi(1998) for education involvement test and the tools of Kim Tae-Hyun and Im Seon-Young(2004) for the test of relation satisfaction between parents and children. It revised and used the measuring tools of Chi Sung-Ae and Jung Dae-Hyun(2006) for children s school adaptation and revised and used the estimation paper of education and information institute(2006) of Gyeonggi province for academic achievement test.
  It performed independent sample t test and ANOVA analysis on the collected data according to the research issues. The result shows that school adaptation is meaningfully related to the income of parents, father s academic background, parents meeting participation, interview with the teacher in charge of their children, satisfaction in the relation between parents and children and education time for children. Academic achievement is meaningfully related to parents ages, parents income, parents jobs, parents academic background, parents meeting participation, parents interview with the teacher in charge of their children, satisfaction in the relation between parents and children and parents education expectation. It indicates that the children should adapt to the school satisfactorily and achieve academic goal through close related education between homes and elementary schools.
