두 단계 공급체인에서의 수요정보공유의 가치 - 생산자와 소매상이 재고부족비용을 분담할 경우

국문 초록

  공급체인의 상위단계로 갈수록 수요변동이 증폭된다는 채찍효과를 감소시키는 방안 중의 하나로 제안되는 것이 수요정보의 공유이다. 본 논문은 이러한 수요정보공유의 효과 및 크기를 파악할 수 있는 모형을 제시하며 또한 리드타임, 수요변동 정도 등 관련 변수들이 수요정보공유의 가치에 미치는 영향을 살펴본다. 두 단계 공급체인에서 생산자와 소매상이 재고부족비용을 분담하는 경우를 연구의 대상으로 한다는 점이 다른 논문들과 다른 점이며 다음과 같은 결과를 얻는다. 정보공유의 가치는 재고부족비용의 분담률에 따라 달라지며 소매상의 분담률이 클수록 생산자에게 있어 수요 정보의 가치는 떨어진다. 재고부족비용올 생산자와 소매상 중 어느 한 쪽이 과다하게 분담하는 경우에 비하여 균등하게 분담할 경우에 공급체인 전체의 평균재고수준은 높게 유지되어 고객 서비스 수준이 높아지며, 소매상에게 있어서는 재고부족비용을 분담하는 경우에 분담하지 않는 경우보다 평균재고수준은 낮다. 그리고 시계열 수요의 상관관계, 수요의 변동, 리드타임 등이 클수록 정보공유의 가치가 높은 것을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

  Information sharing is suggested as one of the methods coping with the Bullwhip effect, the phenomenon of demand variability amplification as going up in the supply chain. We propose a model for understanding and quantifying the value of information sharing and examine the impact of the related variables such as lead time, demand variability, etc. on the value of information sharing. Our model is different from others in that we consider the case where a producer and a retailer shares the shortage cost and the results are the following: the value of information sharing depends on the shortage cost sharing proportion. As the retailer"s share increases, the value of information sharing for the producer decreases. In addition, compared to the case of sharing the shortage cost excessively by one side, when the producer and the retailer share it equally, the total average inventory level for the entire supply chain is larger, thus, resulting in a higher customer service level. And the retailer"s average inventory level . with shortage cost sharing is lower than that without sharing. Also, it turns out that the value of information sharing increases as demand variability and lead time increases.
