국문 초록
본 연구는 기존의 수업지도성 측정도구를 바탕으로 최근에 부각되고 있는 교사의 전문성 개발을 보완한 초등학교 학교장의 수업지도성 측정도구의 타당화를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 연구 대상으로 본 조사 1은 서울시 소재 초등학교에 재직하는 195명의 초등 교사를, 본 조사 2는 282명의 초등 교사로 하였다. 문헌연구를 통해 학교장의 수업 지도성의 하위 요인을 5개로 구성하고 하위 변인별 문항을 작성하였다. 본 조사 1에서는 수업 지도성 측정도구의 구성요인과 문항분석을 하였다. 본 조사 2에서는 개발된 측정도구의 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석을 통하여 타당도를 알아보았다. 마지막으로 Cronbach α 계수를 통하여 신뢰도를 검증하였다.
연구결과, 초등학교 학교장의 수업 지도성을 구성하는 요인으로 26개 문항 중 5가지가 추출되었고, ‘전문성 개발’, ‘학교 비전제시’, ‘교수-학습 환경지원’, ‘교수-학습 목표 평가’, ‘협력적 관계조성’으로 명명되었다. 그리고 초등학교 학교장의 수업지도성 측정 도구의 탐색적·확인적 요인분석 결과 타당도가 확보되었고, 신뢰도 검증 결과 높은 신뢰도를 보였다. 후속연구에서는 전국 초등학교장 변인을 남？여로 선정하여 표집대상을 확대하고, 측정도구의 각 요인에 더 정확한 의미 파악을 위해 질적 연구방법과 양적 연구방법을 혼합하여 두 연구방법이 보완되는 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다.

영문 초록
The purpose of this study was construct validity for the measurement tool of instructional leadership of principals. For this purpose, the factors to assess instructional leadership of principals are identified through literature review. The 195 teachers among 11 public elementary schools in Seoul were surveyed on the 45 questions concerning the five factors mentioned. The survey data were analyzed with SPSS 12.0 to verify the validity of the five factors of the scale. After the factor analysis, questionnaires based on the five factors were answered by 282 teachers among 15 public elementary schools in Seoul. The answers were then analyzed with AMOS 5.0 and SPSS 12.0 in order to test the reliability.
As the results, five factors constitute the scale of instructional leadership of principals. The factors are named as expertise development, vision presentation, teaching and learning support, teaching and learning assessment, and promotion of cooperative relationship. Second, the factor analysis reveals that the factor loading of four factors is higher than 0.40, which confirms the validity of the scale. Third, the scale proves to be reliable as the Cronbach α value is above .749. In conclusion, the scale of the instructional leadership of principals should be composed of five factors.
For the following research, the mixture of qualitative and quantitative methodology will be expected to conduct actively and complementarily.
