감성프로그램이 유아의 감성지능 및 도덕적 판단력에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

  본 연구는 기존의 지식 위주의 논리적 접근에서 벗어나 감성적 접근을 통한 교육 방법이 유아의 도덕적 판단력과 감성지능에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구 대상은 서울시 소재 유치원 만 5세 유아 60명을 실험집단과 통제집단으로 각각 나누어 실험집단을 대상으로 감성 프로그램을 실시하였다. 연구결과 감성프로그램은 유아의 도덕적 판단력에 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 도덕적 판단력에서 만 5세인 실험집단과 통제집단 모두 결과 보다 의도를 중심으로 판단하였다. 유아들의 연령이 만 5세이지만 Piaget의 타율적 도덕성 단계에서 자율적 도덕성 단계로 발달했음을 알 수 있었다. 감성지능에서는 정서인지 하위 영역에서 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 성별에 따른 감성프로그램의 효과 차이는 정서 조절 하위 영역에서 남자 유아가 여자 유아보다 효과가 높은 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

  The purpose of this study was to explore how much children"s emotional intelligence and morality are enhanced by applying an emotional program to class.
  The hypotheses of this study were as follows,
  Hypothesis 1: The emotional intelligence and morality of children who are given the emotional program will be higher than those of those who are not given it.
  Hypothesis 2: There will be the significant difference in the emotional intelligence by sex. There will be the significant difference in the morality by sex.
  To verify hypotheses, experiment group consisted of thirty 5-years-old children(10 males, 20 females), and researcher"s emotional program was practiced on it ten times for 30 minutes each time. Control group was formed with thirty S-years-old children(17 males, 13 females).
  Two instruments were used for this study. One was "emotional intelligence questionnaire" (2001) developed by Lee Yeung-Suk. The other was a simple form of moral judgement test made by Hebble in 1971.
  ANCOVA(analysis of covariance) was performed in this study.
  The results of the study were as follows,
  First, There wasn’t significant difference in emotional intelligence by group after executing the emotional program. But, the moral judgement test was found significant difference between the experiment group and control group. The moral judgement quotient after executing the emotional program increased significantly.
  Second, There was significant difference in emotional intelligence by sex. Male children were higher than female children. But, in the moral judgement test, significant difference by sex was not found.
  According to the whole study, it is clear that the emotional program is effective to improve the moral judgement. And it is shown that the emotional program was useful means of humanity education to enhance children"s moral judgement.
