국문 초록
본 연구는 보육시설에서 치료놀이 원리에 따른 영아 보육프로그램을 실시하여, 그 과정에서 영아에게 나타나는 정서표현의 변화를 연구하고자 하였다.
프로그램은 치료놀이의 다섯 가지 차원인 구조, 도전, 개입, 양육 그리고 재미에 따른 원리에 의해 총16회기로 진행되었다. 치료놀이는 건강한 부모-영아간의 상호작용 모델을 기초로 이루어져있으며 신체접촉과 따뜻한 양육경험을 통해 애착형성과 정서적 안정감을 경험하고, 재미있는 신체놀이를 통해 즐거운 정서를 느끼고 표현하도록 한다. 따라서 치료놀이의 원리가 적용된 프로그램은 영아의 발달특성에 맞는 효과적인 정서발달 보육프로그램이라 하겠다.
서울시내 구립 어린이집 2세 영아반의 15명 영아 가운데 애착안정성이 낮은 영아 총 5명을 대상으로 총16회기의 프로그램을 실시하고 프로그램 전 과정에 대해 질적 분석하였다. 그 결과 5명의 영아 모두 프로그램 과정 중 미소를 짓거나 크게 소리 내어 웃는 것과 같은 행복한 정서의 표현이 증가하고 집단의 또래 및 성인과 긍정적 상호작용이 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 치료놀이 원리를 적용한 정서발달 보육프로그램은 영아에게 효과적인 접근이라 하겠다.

영문 초록
The purpose of this study is to investigate the emotional change through the Theraplay program for infant in day care center.
The program is organized and applied appropriately for infant’s development level based on Theraplay dimensions and activities. The five dimensions of Theraplay, structuring, engaging, nurturing, challenging and playfulness, are modeled on the interaction between parents and child in healthy relationship. The warm touch and nurturing activities through Theraplay facilitate the emotional security and attachment. The playfulness during the program based on Theraplay dimensions makes the infants experience the happy emotion and have fun. Therefore Theraplay program is very effective approach for emotional development for infants.
This program was organized with 16 sessions. The infants who were aged between 24 months and 36 months from a day care center in Seoul City were selected for this program.
In conclusion we could cleary find out that there was the positive change in the emotional expression of infants during the Theraplay program. This study supports that the Theraplay program is an effective approach for the emotional development for infants in day care center.
