국문 초록

본 연구는 현장 특수교육과 관련대학 간의 협력적이고 실제적인 교사 재교육 프로그램을 개발하기 위하여, (1) 지역 내 특수교육교사들의 재교육 실태와 교육현장의 실태를 파악하였고, (2) 관련서비스 재교육 프로그램에 대한 지역 전체 특수교육교사들의 욕구를 조사하였으며, (3) 실태 및 욕구조사의 의견을 수렴하여 협력적인 특수교육교사 재교육 프로그램의 모형과 교육내용을 제안하고자 모색하였다. 연구대상은 충청지역 내 특수교육교사 207명이 대상이었으며, 설문 조사의 분석 결과 (1) 지역 내 특수교육교사들은 그들이 담당하고 있는 장애아동들의 다양한 특성을 고려하여 적절한 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 관련서비스 영역에 대한 매우 높은 관심을 보였으며, (2) 재교육 과정을 통해 관련서비스 영역의 지식과 기술을 적극적으로 습득하고자 하는 의지가 높음을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 특수교육교사들이 교육 현장에서 요구하는 분야에 대하여 실습위주의 팀 협력방식으로 관련서비스 프로그램을 제공함으로써 우리나라 특수교육계가 안고 있는 협력적인 서버스 제공의 방해요소들을 극복해 나갈 수 있을 것이다. 아를 달성하기 위하여 교육현장에 적용이 용이한 협력적인 교사 재교육 프로그램의 모형과 교육내용에 대하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

In order to develop a collaborative and practical special education teacher training programs connecting school districts and universities, the purposes of this study were to (1) investigate the actual conditions of special education teacher training programs and educational sites within rural Choongchung communities, (2) assess local special education teachers' needs regarding teacher training programs for related service delivery in the rural school districts, and (3) suggest a collaborative teamwork model and educational contents for special education teacher training programs based on practitioners' opinions collected by our survey of local needs and conditions. A total of 207 special education teachers who were working in ChoongChung school districts served as participants of the study. As results of our survey's data analysis, we found that (1) special education teachers in the rural school districts showed a keen interest in the areas of related services to provide appropriate related services with consideration of various characteristics and individual needs of their students with disabilities and (2) they also revealed a strong intention in actively learning necessary knowledge and skills regarding the areas of related services through the process of teacher training programs. By providing related service training programs to local special education teachers addressing critical issues of the educational field via the implementation of practicum-based team approaches, we might overcome barriers to applying collaborative service delivery systems in special education of the rural school districts. In conclusion, to accomplish these purpose, we discussed a collaborative teamwork model and educational contents for special education teacher training programs that would more likely be able to be applied in rural educational practices.
