국문 초록

  21세기는 문화의 시대로서 문화예술교육이 어느 시대보다 중요하게 대두되고 있다. 문화예술교육 중 미술교육의 역할이 점점 주목되는 것은 미술교육이 가지고 있는 미적 체험과 비판적 사고능력 개발 때문이다. 오늘날 현대사회는 IT혁명과 멀티미디어 등 첨단 정보과학 기술의 발달로 인하여 엄청난 양의 지식과 정보가 소통되고 있다. 이러한 시대에 보조를 맞추어 변화하는 환경에 적응하기 위해서는 원활한 의사소통능력과 문화에 대한 비평능력이 전제되어야 한다. 문화에 대한 이해와 수용이 곧 삶의 질을 결정하는 핵심적인 요소가 대두되고 있는 것이다. 이렇듯 미술교육에 직ㆍ간접적으로 영향을 주는 결정적 요소들이 변화되고 있음에도 불구하고, 포스트모더니즘 시대에 걸 맞는 장애아 미술교육에 대한 연구는 활발하게 진행되지 못하고 있다. 우리시대 문화예술의 동향변화에 따른 장애아 미술교육이 적절히 이루어지기 위해서는 무엇보다 구체적인 교육방법에 따른 교육 프로그램의 개발이 요구된다.
  이 연구의 목적은 시대정신에 부응하여 실천 가능한 장애아 미술교육프로그램을 모색하는데 있다. 장애아 미술교육 프로그램에서 조형 활동을 통한 교육이 효과적일 수 있음을 전제로 이 연구는 조형 활동의 구체적인 실천사례를 분석한 후, 장애아를 위한 새로운 미술교육프로그램으로서 ‘자연 조형 체험 활동’을 구체적으로 제시해보았다.

영문 초록

  The twenty-first century can be called the era of culture. Hence culture and art education is becoming more important than ever before. Among educations of culture and art, (fine) art education is attracting more attention. It is because art education has aesthetic experience and can develop our ability to criticize. In these days we live, a massive amount of knowledge and information due to development of advanced technology, such as information technology revolution and multimedia, is produced and conveyed at the same time. In order to adapt ourselves to this changing environment in accordance with these days, abilities to communicate ourselves and to criticize culture are prerequisites. Cultural literacy is becoming more and more core factor to determine the qualities of our lives. In spite that trends of culture, art and art education has changed like this, art education for the handicapped children, suitable for this post-modern era, has not been proceeded actively. In order to make art education for the handicapped children appropriate for this era, first of all, development of education program to present concrete method of education is in urgent.
  The aim of this study(thesis) is to search for art education program for the handicapped children, complying with the 21st century culture and art trends. Education through molding activities can be effective for art education program for the handicapped children. In this study(thesis), I have analyzed concrete practice examples of molding activities and presented "nature molding experiencing activities" as a new art education program for the handicapped children.
