정신지체학생의 성격유형에 따른 HTP 반응특성 비교

국문 초록

  본 연구는 정신지체학생의 성격유형과 그에 따른 HTP 반응특성의 차이를 비교분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 초중고 정신지체학생 264명을 대상으로 성격검사를 실시하여, 군집분석을 통해 성격유형을 분류하였다. 분류된 성격유형별 HTP그림의 반응특성을 공간적 위치, 필수요소, 세부사항, 필압의 강약에 대해 분석하였는데, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정신지체학생의 성격유형은 총 3가지로, 외부지향 성이 높은 유형, 효능동기와 성공기대가 높은 유형, 효능동기가 낮고 부정적 반응경향이 높은 유형으로 분류되었다. 둘째, 정신지체학생의 성격유형에 따른 HTP 반응특성은 집단간에 차이가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 공간적 위치에서 외부지향성이 높은 유형은 좌측상단에, 효능동기와 성공기대가 높은 유형은 지면의 중심에, 효능동기가 낮고 부정적 반응경향이 높은 유형은 지면의 하단에 반응하는 특성을 보였다. 그리고 필수구성요소에서 효능동기와 성공기대가 높은 유형은 외부지향성이 높은 유형보다 문과 창문, 수관, 얼굴, 팔, 손의 높은 반응특성을 보였다. 또한 세부사항에서 외부지향성이 높은 유형은 효능동기와 성공기대가 높은 유형과 효능동기가 낮고 부정적 반응경향이 높은 유형보다 큰집, 기울어진 나무, 가지 끝이 뾰족하게 열림, 부러지고 상처 난 가지, 양팔 평행, 딱딱한 자세의 높은 반응특성을 보였다. 반면에 효능동기가 낮고 부정적인 반응경향이 높은 유형은 작은 나무에서 높은 반응특성을 보였다. 마지막으로 필압의 강약에서 외부지향성이 높은 유형과 효능동기와 성공기대가 높은 유형은 강하고 반복된 선을 많이 사용하며, 효능동기가 낮고 부정적 반응경향이 높은 유형은 희미하고 약한 선을 많이 사용하는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

  The object of this study are to investigate the personality types of students with mental retardation(MR) and to analyse the differences on the characteristic of the HTP response according to the personality types.
  First, by using cluster analysis, the EZPQ 7 scales from 264 MR between the ages of 8 and 19 years were investigated. As a result, 3 personality types were extracted.
  MR subtype 1 contained 90 subjects. They tend to imitate others" behaviors. This subtype was named “a high outerdirectedness subtype”. MR subtype 2, which contained 115 subjects, have a strong belief to succeed. And they don"t give up easily on difficult problems. This subtype was named “a high effectance motivation and expectance of success subtype”. MR subtype 3 contained 58 subjects. They show their anxiety(uneasiness) first and simply abandon complex and difficult questions. And they are apt to keep strict guard when interacting with strangers. This subtype was named “a low effectance motivation and high negative-reaction tendencies subtype”.
  Second, A result on the characteristic of the HTP response according to the MR subtype 1, 2, 3 were as follows: MR subtype 1 were higher in the following items: the location of the house in the left side, big size of the house, inclined house, prickle of a branch, round shape of the tree, parallel arm, inactivity posture of the person. MR subtype 2 were higher in the following items: the door, the window, the face, the arm, the hand, the crown of a tree, a big tree, the opposite direction of feet, a belt, strong and repeated lines. MR subtype 3 were higher in the following items: a (weals and) faint line, the location of the house in the down side.
  Based on the HTP analysis, each group seems to be characterized by the following patterns in term of personalities. MR subtype 1 are introversive, past-oriented, unstable, and passive against the exterior. On the other hand, MR subtype 2 are characterized by the following tendencies: more stable, affirmative emotion, and positive personal relationship. MR subtype 3 are characterized by the following tendencies: depression, defeatism, strict guard against the outside and a low energy level. Each MR student show his own characteristic even among in his subtype.
