전업주부의 여가 형태에 따른 만족도 연구

국문 초록

2000년대에 들어오면서 우리 국내에서도 주5일근무제와 같은 여가시간의 양적확대에 따른 다양한 여가활동과 웰빙 문화의 확대와 같은 삶의 질을 추구하는 다양한 여가시간의 활용에 관한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 그러한 환경 속에서 한국의 전업주부들의 여가활동 인구는 점점 증가해가고 있으며 이러한 상황 속에서 전업주부의 여가활동에 관한 연구는 부족하다고 판단되어진다. 이러한 시점에서 이 연구는 전업주부의 여가활동 유형을 세분화하여 이들 집단 간의 만족도의 차이를 알아보고, 각각의 집단의 여가활동 참여유형에 따른 만족도의 차이를 통계적 절차에 따라 검증해 보았다. 그 결과로 주부들의 여가유형에 따른 만족도의 차이는 있었으며 이는 주부의 생활의 만족도에도 직결되는 문제임을 본 연구에서 알 수 있었다. 본 연구의 한계점은 주부의 여가 만족도의 차이가 주부의 삶의 질 또는 가정의 행복 등의 변수에 영향을 주는지에 대한 명확한 검증 절차가 없었으며 앞으로 전업주부의 여가시간의 효과적인 활용 측면에서 또는 개인의 삶의 만족도 측면에서 보다 많은 연구가 이루어져야 한다고 생각된다.

영문 초록

Entering 2000s’, many people become more interested in the utilization of various leisure timespursuing the quality of life, e.g., various recreation activity following quantitative expansion of leisure time by 5-working days per week system and expansion of well-being culture in the country. In such environment, the population of recreation in Korean housewives is gradually increasing. However, the research on the recreation of housewives seems to be insufficient in such circumstance. At this time, this researchinvestigated the difference of level of satisfaction among the groups of housewives by dividing the types of recreation of housewives and statistically verified the difference of level of satisfaction in accordance with the type by which each group participates in recreation. As a result, this research found that there is difference of level of satisfaction in the leisure type of housewives and it is directly connected to the level of satisfaction in the life of housewives. The limit of this research is that there was no definite verification regarding whether difference of level of satisfaction in the leisure type of housewives affects the variables such as housewives’ quality of life or happiness of family and so on. Thus, further research seems necessary both in the aspect of effective utilization of leisure time of housewives and in the aspect of level of satisfaction in the personal life.
