대인관계 원형모델에 따른 한국판 대인관계 문제척도의 구성

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 대인관계 문제척도(IIP: Horowitz, Rosenberg, Baer, Ureno, ＆Villasenor, 1988)를 번안하여 553명의 대학생에게 실시하였다. 요인분석 결과 대인관계 원형 모델의 두 차원, 즉 친애와 통제 차원에 해당되는 2개의 요인을 발견하였으며, 각 문항이 이들 요인에 대해 갖는 요인부하량과 공통분의 크기를 검토하여 각각 8문항으로 이루어진 8분원 하위척도(octant scales)를 구성하였다. 이렇게 새로 구성된 대인관계 문제 원형척도(IIP-C)에서는 각 하위척도별 문항의 내용이 비교적 동질적이면서 대인관계 원형 모델의 이론적 두 차원을 잘 반영하는 것으로 판단 되었다. 64문항으로 이루어진 한국판 IIP-C의 전체 신뢰도(α)는 .95였으며, 하위척도별로 .76~ .89의 신뢰도를 보였다. 이러한 결과와 함께 본 연구의 의의와 앞으로의 연구방향, 그리고 제한점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The aim of the present study is to construct a set of circumplex scales for a Korean version of the Inventory of Interpersonal Problems(IIP; Horowitz, Rosenberg, Baer, Ureno, & Villasenor, 1988). A sample of university undergraduates(n=553) was used for this purpose of the study. The ipsatized item scores were intercorrelated and subjected to a factor analysis in which two familiar interpersonal factors (that is, Affiliation and Control) were extracted. The factor loadings, communalities, and thematic content were used to select the best items for eight 8-item circumplex scales (lIP-C). Factor analyses of the scores for these eight scales resulted in a clear two-factor solution, accounting for 65% of the variance. A post hoc chi-square test developed by Fisher(1983) was used to evaluate the circumplex structure of the IIP-C in this sample. This test suggested a high degree of convergence between the empirical locations of the IIP-C scales and the locations predicted by circumplex theory. The implications and limitations of the study were discussed along with some suggestions for future researches and psychotherapy practice.
