편집증 집단의 자기개념과 주의 및 기억편향

국문 초록

편집성향 집단과 피해망상 집단의 자기개념이 부정적이고 자기개념 관련 자극에 과민하다는 가설을 검증하였다. 연구 1에서는 대학생 편집 집단, 우울 집단, 편집-우울 집단, 통제집단에게 성격특성 단어를 사용한 Stroop과제를 실시한 후 각 단어에 대해 자기기술 정도를 평정하도록 하였다. 연구 2에서는 피해망상 환자, 우울증 환자, 정상인 통제 집단에게 정격특성 단어를 사용한 Stroop를 실시한 후 각 단어에 대해 자기기술 정도를 평정하도록 하였다. 실험 결과, 편집성향 집단은 부정단어보다 긍정단어를 더 자기 기술적이라고 평정하면서도 Stroop 간섭량은 부정단어에서 더 컸다. 피해망상 집단은 부정단어보다 긍정단어를 더 자기 기술적이라고 평정하면서도 Stroop 간섭량은 긍정 및 부정단어 모두에서 컸다. 본 연구의 시사점과 제한점, 앞으로의 연구방향이 논의 되었다.

영문 초록

This study tested the hypothesis that the paranoid tendency and persecutory delusions are related to negative self-concept and attentional bias for information of relevance to the self-concept. In study 1, the paranoid students, the depressed students, the paranoid-depressed students and the controls performed the modified Stroop task. Subjects were required to name the ink colors of positive trait adjectives, negative trait adjectives and neutral adjectives. Subjects were also asked to rate the degree to which they endorsed as self-descriptive these and other trait adjectives. In study 2, persecutory deluded patients, depressed patients, and normal controls were compared. The paranoid students demonstrated a significantly higher rate of endorsement for negative words than positive words in the Stroop task. The persecutory deluded patients demonstrated a significantly higher rate of endorsement for positive words than negative words, but showed a marked degree of interference when color naming both positive and negative words. The suggestions and the limitations of this study, and the directions of future study were discussed.
