국문 초록

디지털 대 전환의 시대를 맞아 다양한 디지털 에듀테크 및 인공지능 기술을 교육에서 활용하는 방안에 대한 논의가 뜨겁다. 미술과 역시 교과목으로서 AI 코스웨어를 사용하지 않을 수 없게 될 것이며 이와 관련한 연구를 바탕으로 미술과에 알맞게 AI 코스웨어를 적용해야 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 AI 코스웨어를 타 교과에 적용해 본 교사들을 인터뷰하여 미술과 적용 방안에 대한 의견을 듣고 적용 방향을 모색하였다. 분석 결과는 크게 ‘현 AI 코스웨어 보완점’, ‘미술의 본질을 지키는 도구’, ‘미술과 AI 코스웨어에 필요한 기능’, ‘AI 코스웨어의 윤리적 쟁점들’으로 종합하였으며 세부적으로 미술과 AI 코스웨어를 위한 방안을 제안하였다. 초등 미술과에서는 AI 코스웨어를 도입하더라도 재료가 갖는 물성을 손으로 느끼는 것이 우선되어야 한다. 수업에 적용하기 위해서는 코스웨어의 기능적 사용의 편리성 뿐만아니라 미술 학습을 돕는 각종 기능들이 필요하며, 작품 큐레이션, 디지털 아뜰리에, 협업 툴 등이 제공되어야 한다. 아울러 각종 저작권 문제 등에 대한 해결과 윤리적 고민, 디지털 환경에서의 미적 체험에 대한 실제적 연구 등이 이루어져야 한다. 단단한 철학적 논의 위에 기술이 갖추어지고 실행될 때 진정한 의미에서 AI 코스웨어가 미술과에 적용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

In the context of the digital transformation era, there is an active discourse regarding the strategies for utilizing various digital educational technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) in education. The integration of AI courseware into art education is becoming an indispensable necessity. Consequently, it is essential to implement AI courseware that is specifically tailored for the art curriculum, based on pertinent research. To achieve this, this study involved interviewing educators who have applied AI courseware in other subject areas to gather their insights on potential applications within the field of art education. The analysis of these interviews resulted in the identification of four primary categories: 'Current Limitations of AI Courseware,' 'Tools for Preserving the Essence of Art,' 'Necessary Features for Art Education AI Courseware,' and 'Ethical Issues Associated with AI Courseware.' Based on these findings, specific recommendations for the integration of AI courseware in art education were proposed. In elementary art education, it is crucial that, even with the introduction of AI courseware, the tactile experience of engaging with the physical properties of materials remains a priority. For effective classroom integration, it is necessary to ensure not only the convenience of functional use of the courseware but also the inclusion of various features that facilitate art learning, such as artwork curation, digital ateliers, and collaborative tools. Furthermore, it is imperative to address copyright issues, engage in ethical considerations, and conduct empirical research on aesthetic experiences within digital environments. Ultimately, the genuine application of AI courseware in art education can only be realized when it is underpinned by rigorous philosophical discourse and effectively executed in practice.
