시각장애인 근로자의 생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인

국문 초록

연구 목적: 이 연구는 시각장애인 근로자의 일반적 특성, 직업 특성, 심리사회적 특성이 생활만족도에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 통하여 시각장애인 근로자의 생활만족도를 향상하기 위한 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 연구 방법: 이 연구에서는 시각장애 관련 기관 및 협회를 통하여 연구의 목적과 방법을 설명하고 설문조사 참여에 대한 동의를 구하였다. 설문조사 참여에 동의한 기관 및 협회를 통하여 설문지를 배부하였고, 기관 및 협회를 이용하는 시각장애인들을 대상으로 연구의 목적과 방법을 설명하고 설문조사를 진행하였다. 이 연구에서는 208명의 자료를 최종분석에 활용하였으며, 시각장애인 근로자의 생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위하여 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과: 이 연구에서는 생활 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 일반적 특성, 직업 특성, 심리사회적 특성으로 구분하여 분석하였다. 그 결과, 일반적 특성과 직업 특성에서는 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 요인이 나타나지 않았다. 심리사회적 특성에서는 장애수용, 대인관계 정도, 일상생활 스트레스 요인이 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 장애수용이 높을수록, 대인관계의 정도를 긍정적으로 인식할수록, 일상생활 스트레스가 낮을수록 생활만족도는 높아지는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 결론: 이러한 결과를 토대로 시각장애인 근로자의 생활만족도를 높일 수 있는 방안에 대해 몇 가지 제언을 하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study is intended to analyze the effects of general characteristics, occupational characteristics, and psychosocial characteristics of visually impaired workers on their life satisfaction. It is aimed at exploring different ways to boost their life satisfaction. Method: The purpose and method of this study were explained through institutions and associations related to visual impairment, and survey consent was obtained in advance. Questionnaires were distributed through the institutions and associations that participated in the survey, where the purpose and method of the study were explained to those workers with visual impairments. Results from 208 participants of the survey were used for the final analysis, and multiple regression analysis was conducted to identify the factors affecting their life satisfaction. Results: The factors affecting the life satisfaction were categorized into general characteristics, occupational characteristics, and psychosocial characteristics. The findings are as follows. First, there are no factors that have a statistically significant effect on their life satisfaction in the categories of general characteristics and occupational characteristics. As for psychosocial characteristics, the level of disability acceptance, interpersonal relationships, and daily life stressors has a statistically significant effect on their life satisfaction. In other words, the higher the level of disability acceptance is, the more positively interpersonal relationships are perceived, and the lower the stress in daily life is, the higher the life satisfaction is. Conclusion: Based on the findings, this study suggests different ways to increase the life satisfaction of visually impaired workers.
