신학생들의 상담경험에 대한 현상학적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 주제는 신학생들이 상담을 통해서 무엇을 경험하고, 어떤 변화가 일어났는지에 대한 현상을 밝히려는 것이다. 연구를 위해서 신학대학원에 재학 중이면서 상담을 경험한 신학생 6명(남3명, 여3명)을 심층적으로 인터뷰하였으며, Colaizzi의 현상학적 연구방법으로 분석하였다. 두 개의 연구문제 중 첫 번째 연구문제인 ‘신학생들은 상담을 통해서 무엇을 경험하는가?’의 분석결과, 140개의 구성된 의미, 40개의 주제, 17개의 주제묶음, 5개의 범주가 도출되었다. 범주는 ‘상담자와 치료적 협력관계를 맺음’, ‘자신을 새롭게 발견하고 수용함’, ‘관계에 대한 이해와 인식이 확장됨’, ‘상담이 신앙생활에 도움이 된다고 생각함’, ‘상담의 한계를 느낌’으로 분류되었다. 두 번째 연구문제인 ‘신학생들은 상담을 통해서 어떤 변화가 있는가?’의 분석결과, 90개의 구성된 의미, 36개의 주제, 16개의 주제묶음, 5개의 범주가 도출되었다. 범주는 ‘개인 내적 심리의 변화’, ‘행동 및 태도의 변 화’, ‘관계가 회복되는 변화’, ‘사역자로서의 긍정적 변화’, ‘상담에 대한 인식의 변화’로 분류되었다.

영문 초록

This study explored seminary students’ experiences in counseling and identified the changes that occurred through counseling. Using Colaizzi’s phenomenological analysis, six seminary students (three men, three women) who had experiences in counseling were interviewed. From the analysis of the first research question, “What do seminary students experience in counseling?,” 140 constructed meanings, 40 themes, 17 theme clusters, and 5 categories were derived. The categories were ‘Establishment of a therapeutic alliance with a counselor,’ ‘Discovery and acceptance of oneself,’ ‘Enhanced understanding and awareness of relationships,’ ‘Recognition of the helpfulness of counseling to faith,’ and ‘Recognition of counseling limitations.’ From the second research question, “What changes do seminarians experience in counseling?,” 90 constructed meanings, 36 themes, 16 theme clusters, and 5 categories were derived. The categories were ‘Personal intrapsychic changes,’ ‘Behavioral and attitude changes,’ ‘Restoration of relationships,’ ‘Positive changes as a minister,’ and ‘Changes in perception of counseling.’
