국문 초록

본 연구는 최근 교육현장에서의 AI에 대한 관심과 활용이 확대되는 상황에서 특수교사의 장애학생을 위한 AI교육 관련 경험과 인식을 조사하고자 하였다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 온라인 설문조사를 통해 수집한 특수교사 330명의 응답 자료를 기술통계와 워드클라우드 분석 으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 특수교사는 장애학생을 위한 AI교육의 필요성을 높이 평가하고 향후 활용에 많은 관심을 보였으나, 현재 특수교사 본인의 준비도 및 교육적 활용도는 낮은 수준이라고 인식하였다. 둘째, 특수교사의 AI 활용 관련 연수에 대한 관심과 향후 참여 의지는 높았으며, AI 콘텐츠 활용 실습, 교육과정과 연계한 AI 활용방법 제공 등 실제적인 연수가 필요하다고 인식하였다. 셋째, 특수교사들은 AI의 도입이 미래 특수교육에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것이라고 기대하였으며 무엇보다 다양한 수업자료 활용 가능, 장애학생 학습 흥미 유발 및 수업 참여 촉진, 학업 성취도 데이터 누적 및 분석 활용 등을 통해 개별화교육의 실현과 특수교육의 질 향상에 이바지할 것이라고 인식하였다. 넷째, 특수교사들은 장애학생을 위한 성공적인 AI교육을 위해서는 무엇보다 장애학생 특성과 필요에 맞는 AI교육용 콘텐츠 및 플랫폼 개발이 필요하다고 인식하였다. 마지막으로, 특수교사들은 AI 발달로 인한 장애학생에 미치는 부정적 영향, 장애학생 역량 제한으로 인한 AI 적용 한계 등의 AI 활용의 제한점에 대한 우려를 표하였다. 도출된 연구 결과를 바탕으로 논의 및 후속 연구에 대한 방향을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to investigate the experiences and perceptions of special education teachers regarding AI education for students with disabilities. To achieve the purpose, data from 330 special education teachers were collected through an online survey and analyzed using descriptive statistics and word cloud analysis. The results of this study are as follows: First, special education teachers highly evaluated the necessity of AI education for students with disabilities and showed significant interest in its future utilization. However, they perceived their own readiness and their level of AI education to be low. Second, there was a high interest among special education teachers in AI-related training, and a willingness to participate in future training sessions was evident. It was recognized that practical training such as utilizing AI content, using AI aligned with curriculum is necessary. Third, special education teachers expected that the introduction of AI would have a positive impact on future special education, particularly in realizing individualized education and improving the quality of special education Fourth, special education teachers recognized the need for the development of AI educational content and platforms meeting the characteristics and needs of students with disabilities for successful AI education. Last, special education teachers expressed concerns about the potential negative effects of AI development on students with disabilities, as well as limitations in AI application due to the limitations of students' abilities. Based on the findings, the implications and directions for future research are discussed.
