국문 초록

본 연구는 내면화된 수치심이 대인관계문제에 미치는 영향에 있어서 악의적 선망과 분노반추의 매개효과에 대해 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 20~69세 성인 488명을 대상으로 내면화된 수치심 척도, 대인관계문제 척도, 악의적 선망 척도, 분노반추 척도 질문지를 온라인 설문조사를 통해 실시하였으며 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 내면화된 수치심과 악의적 선망, 분노반추, 대인관계문제는 정적으로 유의한 상관관계가 있었다. 또한 악의적 선망 또한 분노반추, 대인관계문제와 정적으로 유의한 상관관계가 있었으며 분노 반추도 대인관계문제와 정적으로 유의한 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 내면화된 수치심이 악의적 선망과 분노반추를 거쳐 대인관계문제에 이르는 경로에 대한 이중매개효과가 유의한 것으로 나타났으나 악의적 선망 자체로도 대인관계 문제에 미치는 영향이 강한 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구의 의의는 내면화된 수치심이 높은 내담자들이 대인관계문제를 가지는데 있어 악의적 선망과 분노반추라는 개인 내적 변인의 영향을 받을 수 있으나, 특정한 인지적 과정을 거치지 않고 악의적 선망 자체로도 대인관계문제에 미치는 영향력이 높을 수 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study examined the simple and the dual mediating effects of malicious envy and anger rumination in the relationship between internalized shameand interpersonal problems. Results reveal that internalized shame had a significantly positive relationship with malicious envy, anger rumination, and interpersonal problems. Malicious envy was significantly and positively related to to both anger rumination and interpersonal problems. In addition, a significant positive relationship was founded between anger rumination and interpersonal problems. Furthermore, the analysis confirmed the simple mediating effect of malicious envy and anger rumination between internalized shame and interpersonal problems. Lastly, the analysis confirmed the double mediating effect of internalized shame on the path to interpersonal problems through malicious envy and anger rumination. These findings suggest that individuals with internalized shame may face interpersonal challenges through mechanisms involving malicious envy and anger rumination, with malicious envy playing a role in affecting interpersonal relationships even in the absence of anger rumination processes.
