교사 코칭역량에 대한 주제범위 문헌고찰

국문 초록

본 연구는 2013년부터 2023년까지 국내에서 발간된 교사 코칭역량에 대한 14편의 문헌을 주제범위 문헌고찰을 통해 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 향후 연구 방향을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 교사 코칭역량 관련 연구의 일반적 특성(출판유형, 연도별 분포, 연구 방법, 연구 주제, 연구 대상, 연구 지역, 그리고 연구 참여자 수)과 연구 제목에 나타난 주요 단어(키워드)를 분석하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사 코칭역량에 대한 연구는 2013년에 시작되어, 2023년에는 이전 연도의 0-2편에 비해 4편이 발간되어 연구량이 증가하였다. 둘째, 한편의 실험 연구를 제외하고는 모두 양적 연구 방법이었고, 그중에서도 교사 코칭역량과 다양한 다른 요인 간의 상관연구의 형태가(71.4%) 주를 이루었다. 셋째, 연구 대상은 유아 교사(4편), 보육교사(4편), 영아 교사(3편), 초․중등교사(2편), 초등교사(1편) 순으로 나타났다. 넷째, 각 연구 제목에 나타난 단어(키워드) 22개를 연구자는 8개의 범주로 도출하였는데, 교사와 학생의 상호작용, 교사의 전문적 배경 요인, 효능감, 교육 환경 및 자원, 교사 코칭역량 척도, 전문성, 교육방법, 교사의 코칭역량 향상 프로그램 및 효과이다. 이러한 결과는 교사의 코칭역량을 향상시키기 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있으며, 향후 연구 방향을 제시하는 데 기여할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze 14 articles on teacher coaching competence published in Korea from 2013 to 2023 through a scoping review and to explore future research directions based on the findings. For this purpose, the general characteristics of the studies on teacher coaching competencies (publication type, yearly distribution, research methods, research topics, research subjects, research regions, and number of participants) and keywords appearing in the research titles were analyzed. The main findings are as follows. First, research on teacher coaching competencies began in 2013, and the volume of research increased, with four articles published in 2023 compared to 0-2 in previous years. Second, all but one of the experimental studies were quantitative in nature, with the majority (71.4%) being correlational studies between teacher coaching competencies and various other factors. Third, the subjects of the studies were early childhood teachers (4 studies), nursery teachers (4 studies), infant teachers (3 studies), primary and secondary teachers (2 studies), and elementary teachers (1 study). Last, the 22 words (keywords) in the titles of each study were grouped into eight categories by the researcher: teacher-student interaction, teacher professional background factors, efficacy, educational environment and resources, teacher coaching competence scale, professionalism, pedagogical methods, teacher coaching competence improvement programmes, and effectiveness. These findings can be used as a basis for improving teachers' coaching competence and contribute to suggesting future research directions.
