장애여성의 양육스트레스가 우울에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 사회적 지지의 매개효과를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 장애여성의 양육스트레스가 우울에 미치는 영향 및 사회적 지지의 매개효과를 검증하기 위한 연구이다. 자료수집은 경상북도여성장애인복지관 사례관리 등록 대상 중 자녀를 양육하고 있는 장애여성 140명을 대상으로 설문조사를 통해 이루어졌고, 이들의 일반적 특성, 양육스트레스, 사회적 지지, 우울 등을 조사하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 26을 이용하여 기술통계, 변량분석, pearson’s 상관관계, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 장애여성 양육스트레스, 사회적 지지 및 우울 간의 상관분석을 실시한 결과, 양육스트레스와 우울은 정적 상관관계, 사회적 지지와 우울, 양육스트레스와 사회적 지지는 각각 부적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 단순회귀분석 결과 장애여성 양육스트레스는 우울에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 다중회귀분석을 활용한 매개효과분석 결과 사회적 지지는 양육스트레스와 우울 간의 관계를 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 기존연구의 한계로 남아 있던 장애여성의 양육스트레스와 우울 간의 관계에서 사회적 지지의 매개효과를 검증하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 또한 본 연구는 양육스트레스가 높은 상황에서 장애여성의 사회적 지지 지각을 강화함으로써 우울을 완화시킬 수 있다는 실천적 함의를 제공한다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to examine the effects of parenting stress on depression in women with disabilities and the mediating effect of social support. Data were collected through a survey of 140 women with disabilities residing in the Gyeongbuk region who were raising their children. Their general characteristics, parenting stress, social support, and depression status were also assessed. Data analysis, including descriptive statistics, variance analysis, Pearson’s correlation, and multiple regression analysis, was performed using SPSS for Windows, version 26.0. The research findings are as follows: First, the results of the correlation analysis on parenting stress, social support, and depression in women with disabilities showed that parenting stress and depression had a positive correlation, whereas social support and depression, as well as parenting stress and social support, were negatively correlated. Second, the regression analysis indicated that parenting stress directly influenced depression in women with disabilities. Third, multiple regression analysis revealed that social support partially mediated the relationship between parenting stress and depression. This study is significant in verifying the mediating effect of social support in the relationship between parenting stress and depression among women with disabilities, thus addressing a gap in previous research. Additionally, this study has practical implications as it suggests that improving social support perception in situations of high parenting stress in women with disabilities can alleviate depression.
