교육기부 연계 학부모교육 운영 방안 연구 :지역학부모지원센터 프로그램을 중심으로

국문 초록

이 연구는 교육기부 연계 학부모교육을 실시하는 지역학부모지원센터 사례를 조사하고, 교육기부로 연계될 수 있는 학부모교육 운영 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 지역 특성 및 활동 우수성을 고려하여 세 곳의 지역학부모지원센터를 선정하고 참여 학부모 및 업무담당자를 대상으로 포커스그룹인터뷰를 실시하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육기부 연계 학부모교육은 교육지원청의 지원을 중심으로 일회성의 학부모교육이 아닌 자격증과정이나 심화교육으로 시작되었다. 학부모들은 동아리 활동을 통해 학부모 역량을 강화하였고 서로를 지지하였으며, 동아리 활동은 교육기부 활동을 지속하는 요인이기도 하였다. 둘째, 학부모교육에 연계된 교육기부 활동은 교육을 바라보는 학부모들의 관점을 변화시켰으며, 학부모들이 자발적으로 학교 교육 활동을 지원하도록 하였다. 교육지원청의 지속적인 관리와 후원, 진심을 다하는 학부모 강사는 교육기부의 성공요인이 되었으나, 학부모들은 학부모 강사를 대하는 학교나 교사의 부적절한 태도로 인해 어려움을 겪고 있었다. 이 연구는 교육기부 활성화를 위해 학부모 강사를 위한 공간 및 물품 지원, 안정적인 예산 지원, 교육지원청 및 학부모지원전문가의 관심과 노력을 제안한다.

영문 초록

This study investigated cases of regional school parental support centers that conduct school parental education linked with educational donations. It aimed to propose operational strategies for school parental education that can be linked to school parental educational donations. Three regional school parental support centers were selected considering regional characteristics and activity excellence, and focus group interviews were conducted with participating parents and staff in charge. The main research results are as follows. First, school parental education linked with educational donations started with certification courses or advanced education, centered on the support of Education Support Offices, rather than being a one-time school parental education. Parents enhanced their capabilities through club activities and supported each other, and these activities were also a factor in sustaining educational donation activities. Second, activities involving educational donations for parental education at schools not only altered the perspectives of school parents but also motivated them to willingly support various educational initiatives at the school. Continuous management and sponsorship by Education Support Offices and sincere parental instructors were success factors for educational donations, but parents faced difficulties due to inappropriate attitudes of schools or teachers towards parental instructors. This study suggests space and material support for parental instructors, stable budget support, and the interest and effort of Education Support Offices and parent support experts to activate school parental educational donations.
