유아교사의 디지털 콘텐츠 활용 실태 및 인식

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 유아교사의 디지털 콘텐츠 활용 실태 및 인식을 분석하는 것이다. 연구 대상은 서울, 인천, 경기, 충청 지역에 근무하는 유아교사 236명이며, 설문조사를 하였다. 수집된 자료는 기술통계, 교차분석, 카이검증, fisher exact 검증 및 텍스트마이닝을 시행하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 디지털 콘텐츠 활용 실태의 경우는 디지털 콘텐츠 활용유형으로 동영상이 가장 많았으며, 기관유형 및 디지털 교육 이수경험에 따라 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 디지털 콘텐츠 활용 기기는 데스크탑이 가장 많았으며, 기관유형 및 디지털 교육 이수경험에 따라 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 디지털 콘텐츠 활용 시기는 대소집단 활동이 가장 많았으며, 디지털 콘텐츠 활용시간은 10분 미만이 가장 많았다. 디지털 콘텐츠 활용 규칙은 2/3 정도가 있었다. 둘째, 디지털 콘텐츠 활용에 대한 인식의 경우는 디지털 콘텐츠 활용 이유로 빠른 자료 검색이 가장 많았으며, 놀이지원 효과가 높기 때문인 것으로 나타났다. 디지털 콘텐츠 활용의 문제점은 부모-관리자의 부정적 인식이 가장 많았으며, 앞으로 놀이 및 활동 지원을 위한 디지털 콘텐츠 활용계획은 높게 나타났다. 디지털 콘텐츠 활용에 대한 지원 방향은 환경개선에 대한 요구가 가장 많았다. 디지털 기술 및 기기에 대한 태도는 평균 이상으로 높게 나타났다. 마지막으로 디지털 콘텐츠 활용 의견에 대한 키워드 분석의 경우, 디지털 콘텐츠의 활용이 필요하다고 인식한 반면, 교사의 구체적인 역할이나 놀이와 교육 간의 연계성에 대한 인식은 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 디지털 콘텐츠 활용 실태 및 인식을 파악함으로써 디지털 기반 교육에 대한 기초자료를 제시하였다는 점에서 그 시사점이 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze early childhood teachers’ utilization and perceptions of digital content. The participants of this study were 236 early childhood teachers working in Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, and Chungcheong provinces, and a survey was conducted. The collected data were subjected to descriptive statistics, cross-analysis, chi-square test, fisher exact test, and text mining. The results are as follows. First, the results of the survey on digital content utilization showed that videos were the most common type of digital content utilized, with statistical differences depending on the type of institution and completion experience on digital education. The most common device for digital content utilization was the desktop, with statistical differences depending on the type of institution and educational experience. The most common way to engage with digital content was through large and small group activities, the most common way to engage with digital content was for less than 10 minutes. There were about 2/3 of the rules for using digital content. Second, the results of the survey on the perception of digital content utilization showed that the most common reason for utilizing digital content was to search for information quickly, and they perceived that it was effective in supporting play. The most common problem with using digital content was the negative perception of parents and managers, and plans to use digital to support play and activities in the future were high. In terms of support for digital utilization, the most common request was to improve the environment. Attitudes toward digital technology and devices were above average. Lastly, in the case of keyword analysis on opinions on the use of digital content, while it was recognized that the use of digital content was necessary, there was a lack of awareness of the teacher’s specific role or the connection between play and education. The results of this study have implications in that they present basic data on digital-based education by identifying the utilization and perception of digital content.
