마음챙김 양육이 유아기 자녀의 정서조절에 미치는 영향: 부모 심리적 안녕감의 매개효과를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 3~4세 유아기 자녀를 둔 부모를 대상으로 마음챙김 양육이 자녀의 정서 조절에 미치는 영향을 살펴봄으로써 마음챙김 양육이 자녀의 정서 조절에 미치는 영향에 대한 이해를 넓히는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 선행연구를 바탕으로 부모의 마음챙김 양육이 자신의 심리적 안녕감을 매개로 자녀의 정서조절에 영향을 미치는 연구모형을 설정하고, 376명의 3~4세 유아와 그들의 부모를 대상으로 설문을 실시하여 그 관계를 검증하였다. 자료 분석을 위해 기술통계, 피어슨(pearson) 적률상관분석을 실시하였으며, 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 SPSS PROCESS macro (v4.2) 프로그램을 활용하였다. 확인된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모의 마음챙김 양육과 심리적 안녕감, 자녀의 정서조절은 모두 정적 상관의 관계를 보였다. 둘째, 부모의 마음챙김 양육은 자신의 심리적 안녕감을 매개로 자녀의 정서조절에 유의한 간접효과를 나타내었다. 이상의 결과를 토대로 본 연구의 함의와 제언을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to expand understanding of the effects of mindful parenting that contribute to their children’s emotional regulation by exploring the effects of mindful parenting in parents with 3 to 4-year-old children on children’s emotional regulation. To this end, based on previous studies, this study established a research model in which parents’ mindful parenting affects children’s emotional regulation by the mediation of parents’ psychological well-being, and verified the relationship between them using 376 children and their parents data set. Descriptive statistics and Pearson’s correlation analysis were conducted to analyze the data, and the SPSS PROCESS macro (v4.2) program was used to verify the mediation effect. The confirmed results are as follows. First, parents’ mindful parenting, psychological well-being, and children’s emotional regulation all showed positive correlations. Second, parents’ mindful parenting showed a significant indirect effect on children’s emotional regulation through parents’ psychological well-being. Based on the above results, the implications and suggestions of this study were discussed.
