특수교육대상자의 장애인 평생교육에 대한 인식 및 요구 분석: 고등학교 과정 재학생을 중심으로

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 장애인 평생교육의 예비 학습자라 할 수 있는 특수교육대상자의 장애인 평생교육에 대한 인식 및 요구를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 수행하였다. 연구방법: 본 연구는 특수교육대상자의 장애인 평생교육에 대한 인식 및 요구를 분석하기 위해 총 123명의 특수교육대상자를 조사 대상으로 선정하였으며, 이들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사의 주된 내용은 장애인 평생교육에 대한 인식 3개 영역, 장애인 평생교육에 대한 요구 5개 영역 등 총 8개 영역으로 구성하였다. 또한, 모든 응답에 대해 검정(교차검정) 및 One-way ANOVA(일원배치분산분석) 기법을 활용하여 특수교육대상자의 성별, 소속, 장애유형, 장애정도 등에 따라 비교분석하였다. 연구결과: 본 연구에서 나타난 결과 중 주요내용은 같다. 첫째, 특수교육대상자의 장애인 평생교육에 대한 인지정도는 매우 낮게 나타났다. 둘째, 특수교육대상자는 장애인 평생교육 참여를 통해 행복감 증진, 자기계발 실현 등 개인영역에 대해 가장 기대하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 특수교육대상자들은 시민참여교육 프로그램에 참여하는 것을 가장 희망하였다. 넷째, 특수교육대상자들은 향후 특수학교(급)에서 장애인 평생교육 프로그램에 참여하는 것을 가장 희망하였다. 다섯째, 특수교육대상자들은 장애인 평생교육 프로그램 참여를 위해 프로그램 관련 정보 제공이 가장 필요하다고 응답하였다. 이외 연구 결과는 본문에 구체적으로 제시하였다. 제언: 현장과 후속연구를 위해 본 연구는 특수학교(급) 내 장애인평생교육시설 설치, 특수교육대상자 대상 홍보 강화, 지역사회 중심의 장애인 평생교육 연계체제 구축, 시민참여교육 프로그램 개발 및 보급 등과 같은 제언을 하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose of Research: The purpose of this study was to analyze the awareness and demand of special education subjects, who are prospective learners of lifelong education for the disabled. Research method: In this study, a total of 123 special education recipients were selected as survey subjects to analyze the awareness and demand for lifelong education for the disabled of special education recipients, and a survey was conducted on them. The main contents of the survey consisted of a total of 8 areas, including 3 areas of awareness of lifelong education for the disabled and 5 areas of demand for lifelong education for the disabled. In addition, all responses were compared and analyzed according to gender, affiliation, type of disability, degree of disability, etc. of the person eligible for special education by using test (cross-validation) and one-way ANOVA (one-way analysis of variance) techniques. Research results: Among the results of this study, the main contents are the same. First, the degree of awareness of lifelong education for the disabled among those eligible for special education was very low. Second, it was found that those subject to special education had the most expectations for personal areas such as enhancing happiness and realizing self-development through participation in lifelong education for the disabled. Third, those eligible for special education most wanted to participate in the civic participatory education programs. Fourth, those subject to special education most hoped to participate in the lifelong education program for the disabled in special schools (levels) in the future. Fifth, special education subjects responded that providing program-related information is most necessary to participate in lifelong education programs for the disabled. Other research results are presented in detail in the text. Suggestion: For on-site and follow-up research, this study proposed suggestions such as the installation of lifelong education facilities for the disabled in special schools (levels), strengthening publicity for those eligible for special education, establishment of a community-centered lifelong education link system for the disabled, and development and dissemination of civic participatory education programs.
