국문 초록

본 연구는 한국 사회에서 자주 논의되는 미래 교육에 대한 담론의 특징을 살펴보고 거기에 담겨진 문제점을 비판하고자 하였다. 한국 사회에서 자주 발견되는 미래 교육에 대한 담론의 특징으로는 교육이 사회 변화의 종속 변수라는 점, 사회 변화에 따라 시급하게 혁신해야한 다는 점, 교육 문제는 다른 사회 문제와 복잡하게 얽혀있다는 점, 대학입시를 바꾸어야 교육이 변한다는 점 등을 들 수 있다. 한국처럼 외국에서도 교육 문제를 위한 개혁이 자주 이루어졌지만, 대부분 미완성의 절충으로 그쳤다. 그 핵심적 이유로는 교육의 본질을 반영하는 교육의 언어의 특징을 충분히 고려하지 못했기 때문이다. 교육의 언어와 근본을 교육적으로 고려해야 미래교육 담론을 유의미하게 구성해나갈 수 있다. 교육의 언어는 문화 속에서 의미를 구성해나가는 주제들의 마음과 내러티브를 주목해야 한다.

영문 초록

This study examined the characteristics of the discourse on future education, which is often discussed in Korean society, and aimed to criticize the problems embedded in educational discourse. The characteristics of the discourse on future education that are often found in Korean society include the fact that first, education is a dependent variable of social change, second, it is necessary to innovate urgently according to social change, third, education is intricately intertwined with other social issues, and finally education will change only by changing the university entrance examination. In foreign countries, such as Korea, reforms have often been made for the sake of education, but most of them have been unfinished compromises. The core reason for this is that it has not sufficiently considered the characteristics of the language of education, which reflects the essence of education. The language and fundamentals of education must be considered educationally in order to meaningfully construct the discourse on future education. The language of education should focus on the minds and narratives of the subjects that construct meaning in the culture.
